I hiked to Everest base camp in 2019 with Ngima Sherpa and his other guides. Ngima and all of his other guides were incredibly friendly to my group, so much so that we maintain a correspondence to this day! We always felt safe and comfortable. The sherpas were very knowledgeable and I learned so much about the history and life in the region. If you are looking for the best possible experience while trekking in Nepal, look no further!

I live in Ann Arbor and had heard about Imperial Expedition and had watched the Ted Talk about Pem Dorjee Sherpa's amazing life story.
I invited a small group of my travel buddies to go to Nepal/Bhutan with me to celebrate my 70th birthday. Pem planned the trip of a lifetime for us - he was absolutely the most incredible guide, even making sure I had an amazing birthday party! Thanks to Pem, this trip exceeded all my expectations. We all agreed it was the best trip we have ever had (we are all seasoned travelers). We saw the beauty of the countries, we experienced the cultures, the art, the food, met and talked with people, and made new friends.
I will never forget this trip as long as I live. I continue to recommend Imperial Expedition to anyone wanting to experience this part of the world.

Imperial Expeditions is a fantastic company that provides the highest quality of service I have ever experienced. I have used them over ten times. Mainly in Nepal and Bhutan, where I have had over 30 people in my group and as little as just me throughout the beautiful country of Nepal. I have also used this company to accompany me on the Appalachian Trail. One time I became extremely ill during one of my travels in Nepal, no fault of the company. They cared for me over several days of my sickness and coordinated my evacuation. They never left my side and went way beyond what anyone would ever expect. They saved my life. During all my travels with them, they coordinate food, hotels, tea houses, and transportation. They meet you at the airport no matter the arrival time and help with all your luggage. Any activity will be arranged. You get 5-star service at a reasonable cost. I feel fortunate to have been introduced to this company because they allow me to envision a dream vacation, and then Imperial Expeditions implements it within my budget. I have never been disappointed and always have been ecstatic with the result of my vacation.

Pem and his company Imperial Expedition did an incredible job putting together a trip to Nepal for me and my family. We truly appreciated his guidance and expertise in creating such a fulfilling experience. We visited two national parks, spent time in different towns visiting cultural sights, and we had a fantastic trek. All of our local guides were first rate, and Ngima, who was with us for the entire time in Nepal made our trip truly special with his knowledge and helpfulness. I was part of an expedition led by Pem with some friends from around the country. We visited Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. Pem coordinated an amazing trip with a balance of cultural and natural outings. We always had very good local lodging and local food. Pem and other guides had a huge knowledge base and were friendly and always helpful. This was absolutely one of my best trips ever. I hope to do another version of this trip again soon WITH Pem.
