We would like to thank Damian from Niceland for the excellent and very professional preparation of our trip to Alaska. The expedition was planned perfectly in every detail. A varied, comprehensive sightseeing program that is easy to follow. We had our own transport with a rented car. We were ensured maximum safety at every stage. Constant contact with the organizer gave a sense of confidence and allowed us to adapt the travel plan to current conditions. It was a great choice!!! We are very pleased! We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for organizing such a wonderful trip! The itinerary was perfectly tailored to our needs, and the number of recommendations for beautiful and interesting places to visit was impressive. The accommodations were excellently chosen, and the restaurant recommendations were always spot on - each one served delicious food. We encountered no issues with reservations. Everything was well-prepared and checked before our arrival.
Before our vacation, we received materials and advice that helped us prepare for the trip. All the tips turned out to be useful. Four couples had a fabulous 11 day Alaska land trip. We gave Elizabeth our dates and she did the rest. We began in anchorage then went to Denali, Palmer, Seward and then Homer. We saw grizzlies, caribou and moose. Had trek on a glacier and a helicopter ride to a sled dog camp where we got to experience mushing. Had a great boat trip through kenai fjords national park. Oh yeah, and salmon fishing. It was very skillfully planned and everything went smoothly. Our accommodations were all wonderful and Elizabeth’s recommendations for restaurants were fabulous. Couldn’t recommend this group more highly.

I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about Elizabeth and Hand Picked Alaska!! Our 11 day trip that she planned was honestly perfect!!! The pace of the trip, excursions, accomodations and restaurant suggestions were all fabulous. Each day was fantastic but somehow the following day was even better! She stays in such close contact with you and responds almost immediately if you have a question or concern. If you are going to Alaska- and you SHOULD- you would be crazy not to use Hand Picked Alaska!

Our trip to Alaska far exceeded our expectations. Elizabeth did an awesome job of lining up our lodging and booking all of our excursions. Since Alaska is so large, traveling from place to place can consume a lot of time. Elizabeth was able to customize our travel to limit long travel days. Having the local knowledge and experience, she was also able to point us in the right direction for some day hikes and preparation for such things as bear spray and what roads to travel or not travel on. Our highlights included Denali flightseeing, Kenai Fjords wildlife/glacier boat tour, Denali wilderness tour, and a ½ day train ride to Grandview. Being a local small company, we found the attention to detail was above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend using Handpicked Alaska, especially if you are interested in a more custom itinerary and Alaska experience.

Alaska is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Huge space, wildlife, landscapes that are breathtaking, as if taken from a postcard. Thanks to Damian's organization, we were able to visit many places and also have time to enjoy being there. We will remember this trip very fondly, which was tailored precisely to our expectations. Damian is a competent person and was in touch with us all the time if we had any questions, while his detailed program meant that we could cope completely. Thanks to Damian and his knowledge, we were able to see many interesting and unforgettable places. Thank you very much for your help and advice. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed 🙂

It has been a long time since we felt so well looked after on an organised trip.
From day 1 to the last day, we were in daily contact with Damian - is everything ok? Is the venue OK? Do we need help?
Accommodation, from the lovely Talkeetna, Palmer and Girdwood cottages, to the phenomenal accommodation at Homer we would recommend.
We managed to be in the lucky 30% who saw Denali Summit - we recommend the Savage Alpine Trail - for a different perspective to the bus.
We would 1000% repeat both the helicopter flight to the glacier, where an hour with the dogs was an added treat, and the cruise in the Kenai Fjords. Worth considering, bear watching /we didn't take advantage/, we heard en route that an unforgettable experience.
For eagles, moose or sea otters to observe from behind car or room windows.
Food - just like in the USA 😉 but we were not disappointed in the recommended places /and frankly speaking the "peak season" surprised us - nowhere did we wait for a table/.
The weather was great /although you have to be prepared for the cold and rain every day, a list with tips on what to pack came in handy/ and Alaska, with its majesty and diversity, delighted us.
