We had an amazing time on our 4x4 adventure last week. Ben is an amazing guide and an excellent off-roader. The tour was a great balance of sight-seeing, adventure, and fun. we learned a lot about the area and had a blast doing it. I would definitely recommend Wilderness Journeys and Ben in particular.

Friendly and accommodating staff. To book hot-air balloon rides, horseback riding, dogsled rides(winter), scenic tours, rafting trips, airport shuttles, wolf creek shuttles, weddings charter transportation & taxis of all kinds in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, go to them. They even do non-emergency medical transportation for Medicaid recipients. Also inside the store is a great selection of disc golf. The owner is very knowledgeable on the subject. Sometimes is available to help with questions or issues. They also rent kayaks & tubes for the river and lakes. Go checkout the shop & maybe book an adventure, located in the old Pagosa Lodge. Booking early is always best to reserve a time & ensure a driver is available. Don’t wait til the last minute, sometimes last minute bookings are not possible. Always tip your driver they work hard and definitely deserve the appreciation. I do work here but I was a customer long before I became an employee. Yes, they take me to out of town doctor’s appointments with Medicaid they pay for food and hotel accommodations for long trips to Denver. I honestly don’t know how I would get to where I need to be without this wonderful service.

These guys were great! No one else would help pick me up from the Mesa Canyon take out to help me run shuttle for our rafting trip. Wilderness did it no problem. Great locally owned businesses. They can take you anywhere you want to go!Everyone there is very kind and helpful. The owner, Kevin is a good person. Larry is a great driver and knows the area well. They have a taxi service if you need to go to Durango or the airport. I recommend renting some tubes here and going down to the river!
