I had an absolutely amazing experience horseback riding through the San Juan Mountains! The scenery was nothing short of spectacular – breathtaking views at every turn. Sean, our guide, was fantastic. Not only did he ensure everyone felt comfortable, but he also shared fascinating historical information about the area, which really added to the overall experience. I had such a great time and can’t wait to come back for another ride! Highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the mountains in a unique and memorable way.

My granddaughter absolutely LOVES horses....it's the first thing she wants to do when she visits. When I look for a outfitter, I look for experience, proximity to Pagosa Springs and the area we will be riding.

We were so very happy with our two hour ride with Sean; Magestic Outfitters of Pagosa. Sean gave us the best safety overview we've ever had. He adjusted our stirrups so we would have a comfortable ride and respectfully asked how much help we needed. Sean was incredibly attentive to the small group to make sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. I loved the fact that Sean told us about the area, plants, animals, history. He pointed out landmarks when we reached our highest point. Sean was very open to questions and shared a lot of information about the horses and horse care.

The horses were just beautiful! Extremely well behaved and gentle. The scenery was exceptional; beautiful slightly inclining trails through gamble oak, pine, meadows filled with flowers. Gorgeous!!

This was enjoyable for beginners (never been on a horse) as well as more experienced riders. Easy access, just 15 to 20 minutes north of Pagosa Springs, great price, exceptional ride.

Sean was very knowledgeable and friendly and made our trail experience top notch. He was thorough and professional on safety education, historical knowledge of the area, and horses in general. He toured us through the beautiful national forest scenery, and bypassed danger situations the incoming storm may have brought without compromising any of the positive experience. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time riding with Majestic Outfitters on September 27, 2022. Wrangler Shaun (?) made the experience memorable for everyone pointing out sites along the wilderness trail. We highly recommend the all day ride for the adventurous!

Beautiful and peaceful ride through the National Forest! We ode the 2-hour ride as beginner riders, aged 13-43, and we all had a great time. Our guides were great and the horses easy to manage. Highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed our trail ride with Sean. The scenery was breathtaking. He made us all feel safe and made the ride very enjoyable. We will definitely be riding with him again!
