Great vacation spot very close to Lake Shelbyville!! They have all that you need to have an awesome time with family! Overall great amenities and nice property. All that’s needed to be added is a hot tub jacuzzi!

Completely loved and enjoyed our stay.. Had the best first time experience in cabin.. Clean and organized with space for our necessities and a cute kitchen.. Plus outdoor grill and picnic table! Quiet and peaceful they also had a really cute family friendly pool.. My girls couldn't get enough.. 3 different hiking trails the easy one was so fun for our little girls.. It was really the perfect family getaway we needed! ❤

Lovely place with lovely hosts! The cabins were clean and spacious, close enough to make meeting up with friends in other cabins convenient but left enough space to not feel cramped or have too much noise.

Best weekend with family ever! It rained the entire time. The kids played outside 2/3 of the time, we had a fire, made s’mores, went for a hike in the woods, saw some crazy wild animals, the kids fished and got muddy and wet and cold and we had so much food and a very good time was had by all!!! No drama, just fun!
The cabins were clean and had everything we needed except coffee and filters. Even a hotel room has that. We had a front porch and a back porch completely covered and latticed in so we were mostly protected from the weather and sat out there a lot visiting with cousins.
Our only cons were:
1)mud. A little more gravel would go a long way
2)Our bedding smelled so strongly of chemical flowers I could barely stand it. My cousins wife slept on the couch with her own blanket and her husbands T shirt over a pillow. No more scent beads needed!!!
And yeah, that’s about it. Seriously, we were surprised at how perfect the situation was. We had… 7 cabins in all and we had enough room for everyone to gather and yet separation if needed. The trails were awesome! We would definitely go back! Thank you so much!!!

We are local residents, but needed a small vacation with another couple. It was a super 3 night stay. Did some fishing in their stocked ponds and campfire sitting. Very relaxing! We will be back!

Had family business in Decatur but didn’t want to stay there. Found this little gem. It was just my husband and I so we stayed in a studio cabin. It’s now considered off season and it was during the week so not many people there. The pool has just closed a couple of weeks ago but that wasn’t a big deal for us. We walked one of the trails, played horseshoes and my husband did a round of disc golf (small 9 hole course, beginner friendly). We even got to see 3 deer! We didn’t fish any but I sat on the swing by the pond and relaxed reading. In town, we ate at Original Burger and saw a movie at The Roxy. Even did a little shopping at the thrift store across from The Roxy. (Used To Be Yours) After our business in Decatur, we drive over to Arthur so it’s about 40 minutes away and ate at Yoder’s Kitchen. Highly recommend that trip.
Pros: clean and comfortable, exceptionally nice staff, plenty to do on-site, convenient to stores and restaurants
Cons: spotty wi-fi (we were warned tho! Great way to stay unplugged), no iron/ironing board, no full length mirror (again, not a big deal for vacation but we did have business to deal with that we need to dress up for some)
Will definitely return with all the family and bring stuff to fish with and make use of the fire pits!!

Our larger family (grandparents, parents, kids, and grandkids) goes here every year for an extended weekend going on 10 years. We enjoy the “slow” down vacation. Lots of things for kids to do (swimming pool and kid pool, small walking trail, small golf holes, volleyball net, horseshoe, frisbee golf). This year we saw them putting in pickleball courts. Very hard to get into - once a family is “in” they can rebook for the following year before they check out therefore I know there is a waitlist with a decent list. I’m sure weekends are hard to come by. It has taken us a couple years to get more cabins for growing family based on this. Beds are not great - but okay for a long weekend. Very clean every time. Great place for a family stay and very close to actual golf course and lake for easy access. Property does have weekend boat parking. We enjoy it every time and a great memory for the kids!

Went for my birthday weekend. Even though it was October, it was still beautiful. The guys were out fishing in the pond, and us women were inside getting ready to enjoy. We had a fish fry Friday when we arrived. We set up the projector and screen for movies outdoors and lit the fire pit. It's so nice, calm and comfortable.. the amount of peace and beauty that this place withholds is awesome. Can't wait to go back ☺️☺️
