The friendliest campground you could find anywhere. Great owners who take excellent care in maintaining the property and organizing activities for the campers. We are seasonal campers who moved away several years ago. We are now returning to enjoy our summers at Whispering Pines for hopefully many years to come.

One if the best camping experiences I have had. Went with my husband, a 2 year old and an 11 year old. From the beach to the pool everything was awesome. We played all day and even went fishing in the docks. Next time bring a canoe. Everyone is entirely too friendly and wonderful. So awesome to feel welcomed in the world right now. The owner and his family are very generous and fun. Coming back for sure

Our first trip here and of the year. We found the new owners to be very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the time and effort from them. It is early so the clean up of the campground is still going on but the pool was clean and open. They are currently working on the office and rec hall. Many new seasonal campers, everyone we saw was friendly and most campsites we large and neat. Our site was good size. We had wood delivered to the site and we had some nice fires. We will return at some point.

The park facilities and atmosphere is hard to beat! Our week stay has been an awesome camping experience with two thumbs up to the owners and the seasonal neighbors alike. The pool and access to the lake is what we were looking for our small grandchildren and dog. Thank you Cheryl !

Camp grounds were clean, were met immediately by the host and she knew instantly who we were and gave us (2) options of sites and even stated that they had moved someone else so that we could have a bigger area. Unfortunately Whispering Pines is NOT a friendly “tent-ers” camp ground. Only saw maybe 4 sites almost every other site was full with seasonal campers felt more like a Trailer park. First night our neighbors were very loud until 1am. All the sites are on top of each other with no space/trees between them. Water and power at each location was a very nice surprise and our site even had a Gas BBQ grill but we had not been informed so we were not prepared to use it. Not having a designated area to wash dishes did prove to be a little difficult. Another bonus was having wood delivery, Hayden was a Great kid, unfortunately the wood was very wet, had to purchase additional wood from Home Depot. Activities at the Rec room were again a nice surprise while camping. Be forewarned there is a commuter/working train line that runs right next to the grounds so they blow the whistle several times before and at the grounds some of the trains ran as early as 4am and some until close to midnight. The owners are very nice and with the limited time that that they have owned it they are dedicating themselves to making Whispering Pines a nice camp ground just maybe not for “REAL” campers

Past owners (Pike) had no regard for the neighbors. It is located in a residential neighborhood. They don't police their campers and are disrespectful to the locals.
* update 2018/19 new owners are respectful and are good neighbors. Keeping the property up and watching their campers.

Hands down the best camping. The owners are amazing.They got us in last minute and gave us a the group site.. They kept the pool open late for our girls because it was a hot night. They were super acomidating. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Our stay was cut short due to a storm but we will be back. Highly recommend Whispering Pines.
