Twin Mountain River House - Twin Mountain, New Hampshire

My partner and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and this property was ideally suited for our party of 15 .
The main house ( as well as the adjoining guest house) was clean , well appointed and easily accessed !
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how adept Wally ( the host ) was with his communication skills before , during and after our stay ...
So why only 4 stars ?
I don't give out 5 star ratings lightly and, even though this stay was a VERY enjoyable one, it wasn't without some minor issues that I addressed privately with the host.
In fact, I'm so sure he'll be addressing things quickly I wish it was possible to give a 4 -1/2 star rating!
In closing, if your a big group looking for a place to stay that's close to good ski resorts or you just want to enjoy some scenic new Hampshire, dont look any further than this property!

It was great for our party of 17 the children had plenty to keep busy the river was a great place to treck but most of all when we forgot my husband's charger for his hearing aids Wally quickly found it and sent it to us great home for a large group when you want some time alone or to be with the crowd

We had an excellent experience at TwinMountain River house
we had plenty of space in the house, we were a group of 13 Adults and 12 kids. We used 7 Bedrooms out of 8. We were 7 familes

This place has been closer to the activities we planned, Cannon mountain Gondola and the Flume Gorg hike.
The rooms were large enough, 2 kitchens, 2 living areas were modern, Internet was fast enough.
Host Wally was very responsive and the interaction with him was a 5 Star. would recommend and would go back here if we return to the same area

This house was perfect for our group of seven adults. Plenty of room and plenty of supplies. The best stocked linen closet of all fifteen vacation rentals we stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes and cookware. The two big tables were great, one for dining and one for games etc. The house was very well decorated and has a great floor plan. We loved the screened in porch for morning coffee and could use the sun porch if it was too cold. And WOW the stairs down to the beautiful creek were great, including the benches. Although we were there mainly for hiking, the house was a nice place to hunker down on rainy days. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is that the stove and oven were not clean. Minor issue. We would love to go back and stay here while exploring more of this beautiful area.

Everything was perfect! Home was clean and supplied with everything and very organized. Incredible location for hiking Franconia and Mt. Washington. Host responded very quickly. Will definitely stay again! Excellent in every way!

I am not sure where to start. Wally is an awesome host. We made these plans almost a year ago, and as questions popped up, he always provided prompt responses. The home is as pictured. There were 9 of us and it was our first family vacation with all of our adult children. We had ample space to all come together...we love playing board games and the dining room was perfect for that. We could hear the river which was only yards away. The description of amenities was also accurate. While we were ther, a couple of questions aroae and again, Wally was quick to reapond. A great howt and we had a fantastic experience!

Fresh remodel in the main house looks great. Looks brighter and clean. Awesome location for skiing, both Cannon Mountain and Bretton Woods are close by. Also a great location close to Twin Mountains snowmobile trails. Not to forget. I would like to mention the host Wally is nice and easy to get along with.

Great place to stay. We had good time here. We travelled with our toddler & we reuested the host to keep the place extra clean. They did! Our toddler was exploring the place here!

They have a nice wooden steps to the little river that flows just behind this place.
