I cannot say enough great things about Nathan, Kevin and the entire staff at TownePlace. We had to evacuate due to the fires in Los Angeles and it’s so nice to be able to go to a temporary stay and feel like it’s all going to be okay. That’s what we feel like here. Great rooms. Nice having a small kitchen. Super dog friendly. Hot breakfast in the mornings. Great location. I would give more stars if I could.

Stayed here once before and was satisfied. But the second time - ||The biggest problem is that they overcharged my credit card by over $300. I am still trying to straighten that out. The manager acknowledged the problem on the phone, but does not call me back. I have filed a complaint with Marriott.||Also, we had a room on the fourth floor and the noise was excessive. I think the noise was related to the ventilation.||I recommend against staying here. If you do, avoid the fourth floor and check your credit card bill carefully.

The place is only three years old, but based on a lot of wear and tear, it looks like it's 10 years old. The employees were all very nice. The breakfast is okay.. pretty basic and the breakfast area is crammed. Walls are quite thin. On New Years Eve, there were kids in the next room being very loud - and the sound was barely muffled. The front desk employee did offer to let us switch rooms, but it was already really late. The next night we could hear people in the other room. I was really surprised that a newer hotel had such thin walls, and I've stayed at many different hotels. Locations is pretty convenient if you are visiting the coast. There's also a lot of shopping (and Costco) nearby.

Convenient and clean property located a short drive from downtown SLO. We stayed here for 6 weeks from Oct-Dec 2024. Staff was terrific and attentive to our needs, particularly Kevin (front desk) and Des (breakfast service). Extensive common areas (indoor and outdoor) were excellent. Daily breakfast was good quality. Room was updated and comfortable.

Favorite place to stay on the Central Coast! Dog and pet friendly property with poop bags provided on walking path surrounding the property. Easy access to the 101. Downtown and wineries quick 15 minute drive. Full hot breakfast with multiple options and is served. Large patio area with tons of seating and fire pits surrounding the pool. Views of the surrounding mountains are impressive. Gym is standard Marriott, free weights, 2 benches, and cardio. Hydration by Haws water station.

BOOK HERE NOW! I'm scared writing this because I want to keep this place a secret but sadly I want more people to know how great it is! We're from the Jersey Shore family of 4 and this hotel has been amazing! The rooms are beautiful and the location is great. Perfect distance to Pismo beach, Avila beach, Downtown SLO, BIG SUR, elephant seal beach, Cambria, Cambria moon rock beach, Hearst Castle, Cayucos, Atascadero, & many more. We love it here and I'm sure

Breakfast with Des it was very enjoyable. Enjoy the house hospitality at the front desk as well. also, in also enjoy the location of the facility and the rooms was very clean and comfortable. enjoy the patience of Michaela at the front desk as she assist us with our stay.

Nice retreat for my road trips. Clean room &: facilities. My room was on ground floor and was quiet, equipped with hot plate, fridge, dishes, microwave, closet, & all seemed in new like condition. The parking was free & location is 10 minutes from downtown center district. The complimentary breakfast was basically a biscuit sausage & sandwich. There was a waffle maker & fresh fruit as well with usual beverages.
