Horrible Experience! Traveled here for 2 weeks for work. Had so many issues! I’m pregnant, my thermostat stopped working, no air was coming out from the vent, I had it cranked down to the lowest setting, had it like that for a few hours. Tried calling down to the front desk, no answer and had to walk all the way down there. A gentleman came to look at it, was under the impression I wanted the heater on, switched it from cool to heat, I said No! It’s blazing hot in here. I need air, he places his hand near the vent and said I feel air, I said no, there’s nothing coming out, he rolled his eyes and said I feel the air. He said there’s nothing he can do. Thank God, I’m only here for 2 more nights. I now have to sleep with the window open, luckily I brought a box fan.
On top of that, my first couple of nights here, I had plumbing issues that flooded the whole bathroom floor. Definitely the worst place to stay!

Went to the restaurant on a Saturday morning and had the most amazing server. I believe her name was Mary. I would follow Mary into battle. She was attending to half the dining room with the most amazing attitude and never missing a beat. 11/10 stars for Mary.
Food was also delicious with a wonderful view of the lake.

Did a stop over on road to Vegas.
Great spacious room, clean, decent bed and a beautiful view of the lake. Pet friendly $25 a night. Outstanding bartenders in the lodge, friendly and lively. Met some wonderful locals and people passing through. Had dinner in the restaurant, which was great. Would definitely stop here again, enjoyed our time. Good parking, our room 145 was quiet.

We only stopped to eat, The chicken, fried steak and vanilla cinnamon roll French toast were solid, not actually a five star but a good breakfast.

Service was excellent and we were in and out quick.

Every time I drive on the 395, I stop to eat at the lodge. If I need, I usually book a room though I haven't done that in a few years. I love the view, the food, and the nostalgia from my childhood. My grandparents live a block away, so the lodge has been a constant for my entire life. Love it. I will always go back.

Nice place to grab a quick bite to eat - kinda like a Denny's or IHOP w/a casino & hotel/lodge attached. The service was friendly & timely. The food was fine, but nothing special. Also the menu is pretty small & limited, but they do serve breakfast all day so that's a plus!

The Topaz Restaurant has a great staff of waiters and waitresses,( Mary) her presence is all Smiles, very Sweet. The choice of menu is all great , pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries, coleslaw. Hardy portions. Hot pastrami Sandwich with melted peppered cheese & yellow peppers ( but spicy) gives some heat.
Overall good food, Any day to have yourself a meal of choice.

Disgusting filthy room with dirt all along baseboards and bathroom floor was grossly dirty. Don’t stay here. I’d rather sleep in my car. Total rip off. Door wood broken and splintering, windows so old they are caked with grime. Went to restaurant to use the bathroom this one was so atrocious. Avoid.took photos but no place to add them here
