Staff is very friendly and helpful, the gym is clean. A huge range of machines and equipment. Very clean bathrooms. The is the best kind of "gym" there could be. There are many classes offered as well. But my number one favorite part of the community center is the view. There is nothing like it!

The first time I went there was no problem getting my two dogs licensed. Couple weeks ago I went and had a very negative experience. A lady named Karen (yes, Karen lol) plopped some forms down in front of me after I indicated what I needed. When I politely asked if I needed to fill them out again since I had done them last year, she literally rolled her eyes, went over to a coworker and said something like I can't deal with this can you? I was shocked beyond belief. I am a kind person and was asking a question in a non-offensive way. Fortunately her coworker Staci took over and did a great job. I was so shocked at Karen's treatment of me I had a hard time concentrating on what Staci was explaining to me, and my hands were shaking so I could barely fill out the forms. I felt humiliated and was baffled that Karen would treat me that way for no reason at all. And she works at a community service center, where most of the people are elderly. I fear how she treats other individuals because I know I'm not the first. Where’s the manager Despite Staci being so kind and helpful, I will not return to the Community Center to have my dogs licensed but will go to animal control instead. I called Staci the next day and thanked her for being so kind, and while her apology for her co-worker helped, I will never set foot in the Community Center again.

The Douglas County Community Center is the best. The folks that work there are always friendly and helpful. I enjoy going there and seeing people enjoying themselves. Highly recommend.

The best community center we’ve ever been to! We just have an amazing Nerf gun war, and it was a blast! A huge shout out and thanks to the staff and volunteers tonight!

When here with my step mom Dixie for th ge annual quilt show. I was impressed by the set up in that big building. The zquilt show was great.

The gym is really nice. Very clean, brightly-lit, well-ventilated. Beautiful track upstairs, along with lots of cardio equipment, complete set of weight machines, big free-weight area, lots of misc exercise equipment. A great climbing wall and bouldering area. Four basketball/pickleball courts. Nice folks, very reasonable prices for passes. Great place to stay in shape!

So well organized. Staff is great and everything is incredibly clean! The gym is the best I’ve ever used with all the equipment you could want and they offer day use so if your visiting you can benefit. I love that I can work out upstairs while my kid has practice downstairs. They have a climbing wall and offer an array of classes. Fantastic facility.
