My husband and I and our 4 kids, ages 12-18 just got back from and AMAZING trip to DC and had two wonderful tours with Felix from Tiber! Chris from Tiber helped plan our trip before we came and checked with us several times to make sure everything was perfect! We had a wonderful driver and a Mercedes sprinter to travel around in, it was very comfortable!! Felix was awesome about packing in as much as we could and never felt rushed! It’s a step above the rest!!

She tailored both days to our needs and wishes, she taught us so much, and she was really fun to be with. Our driver was also prompt, professional, and personable. I have taken several tours of DC. I used to live in the area and I love taking friends and families on private tours of DC. There is no doubt that this private tour is by far the best and worth every penny. There were four of us in my group and two of them have never been to DC, so I wanted them to see DC at night. I told the company that I wanted a nighttime tour and they sent me a full itinerary of places that we would visit and worth seeing at night.

Our driver, Gabrielle, picked us up right in front of our Airbnb in a beautiful black Lincoln Navigator and took us to meet our amazing tour guide, Felix. As I said before, I have been on several private tours and an entire week of a school trip with a great guide, but Felix was better and went above and beyond to make sure my group saw the best sights at night.

If you think it might seem expensive for a private tour, trust me, you will get so much more from this tour than just a drive by, big group, tour. This tour is catered to you and your group specifically, and Felix took all kinds of pictures of us in our group. He is very knowledgeable about the architecture and history of the monuments and museums. You will not be disappointed. I am planning on going again with friends in the spring and will definitely be contacting Tiber Creek Private Tours and requesting Felix and Gabrielle for another tour and will choose the 4 hour option next time.

Just got home from an incredible multi-day visit to DC (brought my 78 year old father to DC for his first time), with Tiber Creek Tours. Everything was perfect: a beautiful black Cadillac Escalade SUV drove us everywhere and anywhere (thank you, Amaury), an incredible tour guide that knows pretty much everything about DC (thank you, Richard) and awesome support, planning and correspondence from the home office (thank you, Chris). Fantastic Tour!
We've been to DC previously but this was our first time taking a private tour. Chris was very helpful in providing information before the tour. It was great to have both a driver and a guide so that it was easy to get dropped off and picked up at each site especially since DC traffic can be very challenging. The Sprinter was perfect for our group of 7 adults. Our driver, Joseph, brought us close to each site and was patient with our embarking and disembarking. Our guide, Richard, was AMAZING! Having worked in DC, Richard's background and experience was a tremendous asset in providing us with comprehensive information about the city and its rich history. Richard's thorough discussion of the White House and many of the other monuments was outstanding. At each major site Richard provided historical context, tremendous detail, and good historical anecdotes. It was most enjoyable to hear Richard's enthusiasm in conveying his love for the city. Richard's tremendous respect and love for our country, its government, our system of democracy, and various events in our nation's history was contagious. We listened carefully as he brought history to life. I highly recommend Tiber Creek and Richard, an amazingly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.
