We loved our stay at the Washburn Beach house! Check in was easy, good parking even with our trailer and location was perfect for our vacation to the Bayfield, Apostle Islands and Ashland area. Our favorite thing about this home was the private beach on Lake Superior. Amazing views!! We brought our kayaks and used them daily. Such a beautiful area right near the home on the water. Watching the sunset and moon at night was gorgeous. We also used the campfire pit which was great too. The 2 bedrooms were comfy and had Roku tv. The 2 couches and 1 pull out couch were comfy too. Functional kitchen and great large fridge for family meals. We would definitely come back.

Stunning view! Very nice and well maintained beach house. It was perfect for our family of 5. Quiet area and so nice to come home to after adventures in the Apostle Islands. With 2 bedrooms, nice for 2 couples. I definitely recommend this place!

My wife and I just spent a very nice 4 days at the Washburn Beach House. The house is very clean, well appointed and comfortable. It is perfectly located to travel the entire area, and you have a very nice place to go back to at the end of the day and relax. Unfortunately, it was a bit too cool to sit out on the deck by the lake, but we are sure it would be a great place to have a sundowner. As I'm up early, I watched the sunrise over the bay through the very large window facing the bay, it was a nice way to start the day.

We had a very relaxing time at the Washburn Beach House. You can hear the waves splashing on the shore the whole time! We slept great! There is a fire pit in the yard, and a grill outside for BBQ dinners. Its a beautiful, well appointed house with everything you need. Its a short drive to Washburn, Bayfield or Ashland. There are some good restaurants in all three towns. Bayfield has a lot of pretty shops where local artisans sell their creations. I highly recommend staying here.

The Washburn Beach House was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend away! The view was spectacular, the house was clean and the beach theme was woven throughout. The internet worked fine and our son enjoyed having a small tv to watch at bedtime (although he was worn out and didn’t last long). The kitchen provided everything we needed to be able to cook a wonderful meal and the grocery store is close by, as was the opportunity to buy fresh caught fish. Close to Bayfield and the ferry to Madeline Island. We can’t wait to return!

It’s a beautiful location with private beach access. For the price being charged, one would expect a little decent bathroom. Also not fair to charge cleaning fee and still have to clean dishes and pick up trash.

The contact person was prompt and professional. The location of the property was wonderful. It was located on the lake and had a nice beach. The inside was very clean some of the decoration was a little dated. Overall, Great place to stay and I would again.
