Stay at the Manor is the equivalent of staying in heaven. Everyone is so kind and accommodating, exceptional service. They have two dining rooms, afternoon tea service, and a hot cocoa bar. I’m gluten free and they were very accommodating at every turn. We stayed in Yorkshire which has incredible high ceilings—think sharp angled cathedral ceiling and the king size bed was like sleeping on a well supported cloud. The love seat in the room was also very comfortable and turned into a pullout. The amount of fire places at the Manor are vast and I loved the crackling fire. Make a reservation as soon as you can for the Van Horn to ensure availability for the amazing chef Carolyn—her cooking is incredible and her selection of high quality ingredients truly elevates the experience. The bar does close when the kitchen stops under NH state law, but you can get a bottle of wine to your room. The little touches all over are adorable especially the bathroom toiletries in the mini bathtub. Special thank you to Erica and Carolyn for making everything special and being so accommodating! We could not have asked for a better experience!

My wife and I shared our honeymoon at the Manor and absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic and the ambience was nice and cozy. Our dinners each night were to die for as each meal was better than the last. Our room was perfect as it was one of the first remodels under the new ownership. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on and we woke up more refreshed than ever each morning. We have since gone back 3 more times over this past year and we’re able to see all the progress of the renovations. It’s amazing to see what they have accomplished so far. We even attended a wedding in the Mirador and it was beautiful inside and out. Lastly, the owners, Robert and Hannah, were so gracious and helpful with any requests we had. They made us feel like we were at home. They are such wonderful people and we won’t hesitate to go back as soon as we can. I would highly recommend a stay for anyone. It won’t let you down!

Very cozy and beautiful hotel with outstanding restaurant. The decorations were really amazing, the fire on a snowy February night. Free hot coco, gorgeous view of the lake. Breakfast the next day was 10/10 and the service was top notch. We will be back!

We recently stayed at this hotel and had an unforgettable experience. We attended a private holiday event in the Mirador, and everything was perfect. The setting is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous views that create such a magical atmosphere. The food was incredible—delicious and beautifully presented.

Our accommodations in the Somerset Room were equally impressive. The room was cozy and elegant, with a fireplace that made it feel extra special. The view overlooking the lake and mountains was breathtaking. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was pure luxury—the huge shower is an absolute dream!

This hotel exceeded all expectations. A 10/10 experience—I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!

A very charming hotel with a beautiful backdrop. My husband and I came here for an overnight getaway. While the rooms have an old New England charm, the lobby stole the show. There was a hot chocolate bar and a warm fire going as we arrived. There were board games and afternoon tea in the back room. My husband and I found ourselves hanging out in the lobby most of the time.

The restaurants and bar are beautiful. We had dinner in the main restaurant, the Van Horn Dining Room. It is a limited menu and they were out of many entrees due to Valentine’s being the day before, but the food was very good. We left extremely full and happy.

The only downside is that when the restaurant closes, the bar also closes. This was stated on the welcome letter. However, at 8:30pm, it would have been nice if our server had told us we were the last table and that once we paid, there was no additional option for buying a night cap cocktail. They will allow you to buy a bottle of wine.

Oh, you will not have cell reception, but they have good wifi and the rooms have phones.

Breakfast was also great. We had a hot a la carte breakfast before checking out.

We would highly recommend staying here.

A friend recommended the Manor to us, and it was everything she described and more! The ambiance of the entire property from the wood-burning fireplaces, to the excellent service. We couldn't help but immediately relax once we stepped inside. Both restaurants on site were delicious, and the rooms were immaculate. The fireplace in the room was the perfect touch, we barely left the hotel! Absolutely recommend this hotel. The service and staff were warm and wonderful!

This place is absolutely beautiful, in a very traditional way! Although we did not stay the night we did view some rooms and enjoyed a delectable meal in the Van Horne dining room. |The driveway up to the Inn was lined with granite light posts and trees with white lights. The manor itself was decked out in traditional holiday decor. We sat in front of a real crackling fire AND the food was AMAZING!!!
