We thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful night's stay here. Gorgeous home. Extremely clean. Very comfy bed (top quality mattress and pillows). Unique bathroom and a few different outdoor seating options to sit out under the stars. Appreciated the kitchen access for snacks and coffee/tea . We will be back. Most affordable and underrated place to stay. Loved everything about it.

A very awesome find! My wife and I stayed here together and had a terrific time. The Cobalt house gets its name from the humungous collection of cobalt glassware. Each room within the bed and breakfast has its own theme. The hosts were terrific, ensuring our stay was comfortable and safe. Ask about the history of the house as there is a lot to learn about it and how it grew up with the surrounding area! Would recommend to anybody who is passing through or maybe is reuniting with loved ones. Come visit Robinson, Il and stay at the Cobalt House!

I travel for work frequently and usually stay in chain hotels, but found this place while looking for somewhere new to stay and I'm glad I did. The Cobalt House is wonderful, not only the rooms and amenities, but the owners were very kind and welcoming. Felt very much at home the entirety of my stay. Will definitely be returning when I come back to the area for work!

Stayed here for a class reunion. Rooms were competitively priced with local motels. Breakfast was continental with a variety of coffee, tea, hot & cold cereal.

Cobalt provides tents & chairs for a group. The front porch area is nice to sit & visit. There is inside seating for a small group.

Room for several items in the refrigerator.

My wedding was hosted at the Cobalt House on Sept. 24th of 2022. The event went wonderfully, largely due to the hard work of the bed & breakfast's owner and staff going above and beyond to make sure the setup was complete, the place looked immaculate, and the guests were attended to. Thank you to the people here who made this amazing weekend go off without a hitch! Our guests loved the quality of the rooms in both the bed and breakfast and the extended stay, and the open area at the extended stay made a great common area for family to gather.

The house is beautiful. Some of the most beautiful furniture. The grounds were perfect for a family wedding. The owners were very friendly and informative. They shared the history of the house and the town and it was interesting. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. So glad I visited this gem.

On a recent trip to visit some of my wife's family, we were blessed to stay at the Cobalt House. After checking on the exorbitant pricing for the local hotels, it was suggested to us to check the Cobalt House. Not only were we pleasantly surprised to find that their pricing was very reasonable, but they their accommodations are very warm and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Matthew, the son of owners Alisa and Mike Brashear, who checked us in and gave us a quick rundown of the house. We later met Alisa and Mike, who made us quickly feel like we were staying with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit over the weekend and will definitely be back when we go to visit family.
