The Chalet probably is the most wonderful little restaurant in all of Dodge County, just off Highway 33 outside of Fox Lake. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, it was a ten. The food was perfect. We had the fish combo, which is a combination of perch, walleye, and bluegill. I also had a side of French onion soup and French fries. We also ordered poor man's lobster, which is some delicious baked cod. The sides that were ordered with that were the potato pancake, rye bread, and an order of the best brandy old-fashioned I've ever had. As for the service, I've never seen friendlier people in my life. They make you feel like you're at home. If you're looking for a nice, peaceful time with nice staff and delicious food, this is definitely the place for you.

Me and my mom are so impressed! First timers and will absolutely be back. Food amazing, ingredients are farm fresh and local and you can sure tell! Best eggs I've ever had! Owners and staff were wonderful and so friendly. Eat here, you won't regret it!

WOW! New owners as of April 2024. Awesome customer service from every single person who worked in the place. Food was excellent as were portion sizes with fair prices. Cocktails are available, nice outside patio dining area, cozy inside, clean & they even have your daily banana for purchase in a bowl on the counter. Highly recommend patronizing this local establishment. I was informed they buy all ingredients fresh & from local area farms etc. I will be back here as often as my schedule allows

Went with bestie for breakfast. Great personable service, AMAZING food! Had the meat lovers omelet loaded with meat! Home fried potatoes crispy just like I ordered! Great coffee! Only problem - had to take some of the food home! Yum - breakfast tomorrow! 5 stars for SURE! Will be back to try the fish fry!

My friend and I picked this restaurant sight unseen solely due to the location (halfway between us). What a delightful surprise! Upon walking in, we were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered a fish dinner and chicken sandwich. The food was delicious! We could definitely tell that it was all homemade. The dessert was amazing - strawberry banana bread. Staff even offered to warm it up for me! The atmosphere was so charming. Upon leaving, I found I was comped for the banana bread and was given a coupon for 10% off my next bill. We will definitely be back! 10/10 all around.

My great-aunts, Grandma, and I had an amazing time! I love coming up to Wisconsin to visit and heading to The Chalet. The owners are so much fun and the food is amazing! Can't wait to go back.

Great food. Great atmosphere. The people are so friendly. A very nice family restaurant. Prices are very reasonable for the size plates you get. The pies there are homemade and so delicious too, gotta try them. I'll definitely come back. 😁

Fantastic burgers!! Half or quarter pound straight from leroy's! Man i'm glad there was hair on our food at boat house or we wouldn't have ended up here. So friendly, so delicious, super affordable!!!!!!!
