Staying at the Beal House this weekend and just had the most delicious meal at the tavern. Milk bread for an appetizer (delicious homemade rolls), a filet with roasted potatoes and carrots for my boyfriend and a chicken pot pie for me. Absolutely deliciously prepared and very flavorful! We sat at the bar and our bartender was fantastic. She was professional, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The Beal House is a must-go place to eat and stay!

From bagel pop-ups to date night out, the Beal House is easily one of our favorite spots to dine in the North Country! We love the vibe of the dining room and the dessert drinks are incredible. Whether going for the burger night deal or to celebrate a special occasion, we love the kind staff and culinary delights of this charming restaurant!

Service was very good, but the steak was horrible - tough, cold and tasted off. It was replaced with another piece after we complained, but that piece while the right temperature, was still and just not tasty. Everyone else at our table liked their food but thought the portions were small for the price.

We were in Littleton on vacation and wanted to eat at the Beal House because of all the reviews.
The atmosphere is charming and neatly presented.
The service was remarkable and our server championed our needs. Our portions were plentiful. The Waygu steak was excellent. The house made rigatoni was wonderful.
The smoked baby beats small plate was wonderfully plated and tasty.
Our only issue:
We had ordered the roasted daily fish, but when the couple next to us were served the dish, the smell was so pungent, we had two choices, to leave because the smell was so strong or we could change our order.
We changed our order, but the strong fishy smell that lingered was almost more than we could handle.

Overall nice, but average meal. Was expecting above average based on ratings/reviews and pictures. Wine came out after the food. Requested medium well steak, got medium rare. Tiramisu was mostly just marscapone, very little lady finger. Flavors were nice, but execution could have been better. Music playing did not match the atmosphere or the setting they seem to be going for (too fast & loud).

Our expectations were exceeded at the Beal House. Quite possibly one of the best meals we’ve ever had with service to match. From start to finish we were blown away by the ambience, the friendless, and the flavors of the meal. Each dish looked and tasted like a work of art from the kitchen. We will certainly be back.

My wife and I were on our way from Boston to Quebec and happened upon this little jewel. The experience started with the burrata and blistered tomatoes with grilled bread...so yummy! My wife had the homemade mafalda pasta and I had the grilled steak. Both were amazing. Finished off the meal with the delicious cider doughnuts with vanilla cream. Would highly recommend!

If your looking for something above the chain restaurants in Littleton and not looking to break the bank this is very very good. great service, everything was timely and the food was above average for sure. I would recommend to anyone in town or visiting.
