Our family of 4 had a blast with the Twilight in the Treetops climb! My husband and I took our 2 boys - 5 and 9. It was the first time either kid had done any type of aerial challenge course, and they rocked it! The staff was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. It was a great first climbing experience for the kids. With the Twilight adventure (which they offer on Saturday nights during the summer), you start when it is still light out. Then it slowly gets dark while you're climbing and the course lights up. For my five year old, there was one course on the ground that he could do by himself plus two aerial courses he could do with a grown up. My 9 year old could do 2 aerial courses by himself and then 2 additional ones with a grown up. During the 2 hour time frame, we were able to do multiple courses a few times each. Even with a large group of climbers, I never felt rushed or like I had to wait to long on a course. We look forward to coming back for more adventures next time we're in Asheville!

Thank you to the fine rangers at the Adventure Center of Asheville. We had an epic birthday party at the Treetops Adventures for our 11 year old daughter. It was intimatidating for some of us (adults mostly), and the Rangers were so gracious, helpful and on it. The covered over pavilion was luxurious and clean. We appreciate y'all and are already planning our next adventure with you. ?

This was our 2nd year in a row of hosting my sons bday party here at Adventure center of Asheville and they do not disappoint. Even when part of our group arrived too late to really join our group, they did everything they could to include them, and get them caught up to us when they really didn’t have to. The rangers are super encouraging to young climbers and we had a blast. Again.

We had the absolute BEST birthday celebration for our daughter turning 9. All she wanted for her birthday for the past six months was to go to a high ropes course. I could honestly not have been more pleased with the treetop adventure, and kids zip experience. The staff were so incredibly friendly And helpful with all of my questions. At first, it feels a little overwhelming when you’re learning some of the technicalities of the equipment used to tether you into the ropes course, but they have the most efficient system for “speed training“ everyone. I Found myself laughing and smiling the whole time at all the fun challenges on the course. And they have all different levels from beginner to advanced. I highly recommend trying the red and black courses (the two most difficult courses). Even my 9 year old wished she could try them because they looked so fun. As for KidZip, I wished I would have done it also as an adult. It’s fun for the whole family.

We are already talking to family coming into town over the summer about going back and taking them!

A little on the commercial side, but this place has some great activities. We did mountain biking. The small area was compensated by very well thought out trails and some top quality practice areas. We particularly liked the jumps as we haven’t had much experience with them and it allowed for great practice. This place is great for developing and practicing technical mountain biking skills before heading into the larger (nearby) outdoors.

We took our nieces (7 & 9) here when they were visiting from LA; we loved it so much we bought annual passes. I was badly out of shape & i felt like it's be a great gym alternative for me. I normally don't like gyms or working out (I'm the kind of person who only runs if someone's chasing me). Climbing 2-3x a week has changed my life! I feel stronger, I don't feel out of breath so easily, I love it! So grateful to have found this place.
The rangers are amazing- friendly, knowledgeable, kind & supportive. Every single one of them is above & beyond awesome. Val is my spirit animal. If she started a cult I would join it.
Jordan, Monica, Noah, Caleb, Wes, are all the very greatest; & the front office ppl who are so patient w us when we arrive late. These are the best, most genuine bunch of ppl in every way. Seeing them twice a week is one of the bright spots in my week.
I had to overcome a fear of heights; I slipped & lost my footing on an obstacle; It scared me so much that I had to get lowered down. It took months for me to get past that fear but when i finally tackled that course again they were genuinely happy & proud. They really root for your success. For me, just knowing they're on the ground keeping an eye on me gives me courage.
I should add that they're amazing w kids- I've only brought kids the one time but the rangers were wonderful w them; my nieces still talk about it often; they can't wait to go back... And they live in LA so they're pretty tough to impress.

We brought our BSA Cub Scout pack from Miami FL. All of the staff was great and patient with kids ranging in maturity and supervisory needs. Caleb at the challenge course was phenomenal with patience, energy, and clarity of the rules. The kids also liked that he shared he is an Eagle Scout. Really the whole challenge course and kid zip team did an amazing job and we appreciated everything.

We had kids pre-K to 6th grade in a group of 8 families.

A few of us did the skyline with Grant and Natalie and though we put them to work and made them run late for the next group (thank you again!) we had a great and safe time. My son especially liked Grants quips like slow motion safety briefing recap, offering the Youth Energy Encouragement Technique (YEET for short), and sloth mode for self assists. Natalie was a champ for having to Ranger rescue the kids who didn’t make it to the platform… several times.

Lastly, I asked for a bag for the ride home (motion sickness and mountain driving - yikes) and the friendly admin team members helped us quickly and without hesitation even giving us a reusable bag with some trash bags just in case.

Kudos to a great operation, super fun experience, and wonderful team. We came to Asheville from our cabin in Gatlinburg just for you guys and were happy with the choice!
