Checking out of the Taber Inn today after a lovely stay. We’ve stayed at the Taber Inn twice now, and we absolutely love it. In fact, we plan to come back more frequently. Both times we’ve visited have been during the winter, and the Christmas decorations around the property and by the pool are just stunning! We’re even thinking about ringing in the New Year here next year.

Our kids are big fans of the clean, warm, and amazing indoor pool—it’s a real highlight of our trips.

The rooms aren't fancy or ultra-modern, but that’s not why we come. Each room is unique and impeccably clean, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. They give you plenty of space but are quick to help if you need anything.

The location is perfect, right across from the delicious Mystic Market and just a short drive to everything else Mystic has to offer. We really love it here and can’t wait to return!

What a wonderful stay! The rooms were immaculate and updated. The beds were so comfortable and the location couldn't have been better. Close to everything! The staff was amazing! They bring breakfast to your room. Delicious pastries, coffee and excellent fresh fruit. If I return to Mystic I will surely stay here again!!

We absolutely loved this place. We got a room with a king size bed, fireplace and hot tub and it was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Our only complaint is the TV. There is no cable and no movie channels so we only had approximately 9 channels. My options were college football, shopping channels, and infomercial type shows. Not exactly snuggle in front of the fire and watch a movie TV. That being said we will definitely come back and I will be prepared next time.

Our room was on the second floor of a separate building. It was comfortable and clean--just as advertised. We also enjoyed a visit to the Inn's pool. The Inn is a nice 15 minute walk to the center of Mystic by the drawbridge. All in all, a great place to stay!

My family and I chose the Taber Inn and specifically the townhouse because we wanted to make sure that everyone had plenty of space, and we were not disappointed. The fireplace was wonderful, as were the full kitchen and 3 bathrooms. We enjoyed our time and the breakfast delivery in the morning.

Loved staying at the Taber Inn. We stayed in the standard king room and it was clean and nice. The right furniture and lighting, a comfortable bed, and did I mention clean? Half-point demerit for the thin walls but our neighbors were pretty quiet.
Fantastic service, just great. We were escorted to our room, shown around, and breakfast (coffee, pastries, fruit) was delivered to our door pronto. Good coffee, by the way. And the location can't be beat.

Loved the little home town ambience of this family owned property. Property very well maintained. Personnel very friendly with knowledge of area sites and must sees. Coffee, fruit and homemade breakfast pastries delivered to our door when requested each morning. Definitely will recommend this place to family and friends.

It's in the center of a small town and it is beautiful. I loved my room. It was very pretty. It was very clean but I don't know if this is just because I got a basic room or it was just that but they were like little to no amenities. So if you're looking for that, maybe try getting one of the higher priced rooms. But other than that people are lovely and I would definitely stay again
