We hired Chef Shawn Little to prepare a dinner for a three-person bachelorette party at the bride-to-be's home in North Stonington, CT. And, wow, we would have Chef Shawn every night if we had the means! The meal was beyond delicious and we felt "wined and dined" from beginning to end of the dinner service. Chef Shawn prepared a bacon-wrapped scallop appetizer (with a honey-sriracha sauce), followed by a summer salad (strawberries, feta, red onion) with a homemade strawberry-pomegranate dressing, and finished with perfectly prepared filet atop a lobster risotto and asparagus. For dessert, Chef Shawn brought on-theme cupcakes baked by a local baker -- amazing. There were no leftovers on anyone's plate. Chef Shawn also brought his own pots/pans and cooking tools so we did not need to worry about having the correct items for the meal. He even washed all the dishes and took the trash with him! Chef Shawn entertained our questions and we had great conversation throughout the preparation of the meal. 10/10 recommend Chef Shawn. The nicest guy, reasonable pricing, and a damn good chef!

Hired Shawn for my wife's 70th Birthday. We had 14 people at our house and he was Great. I dicussed the menu with him and he was able to cook exactly what she wanted. Everyone said the food was delicious and we had plently. He was very personal, willing to talk to our guests but he also tried not to be noticed. He even joined in singing Happy Birthday... He cooks better than he sings. (Ha Ha)
His service and presentation was excellent and he even cleaned up and did the dishes. I would definetly Hire him again.

Hired Cheffing It Up for my work party last Saturday Night. Made fresh hot food on site with their own mini-ovens that they brought! Mini Beef Wellingtons may be my new favorite finger food! Also had bacon wrapped scallops, caprese skewers, stuffed mushrooms and a grazing board! I impressed my boss with my food choices! 100% recommend!

I found Chef Shawn while researching local caterers and decided give him a try. After filling out an online request, Chef Shawn promptly reached out to me. He quickly assessed my catering needs....a ladies night dinner for 8...and suggested a perfect menu incorporating my requests for high protein, healthy, and gluten free options. On the night of my party, Chef Shawn delivered (huge bonus for driving to RI!) all of the food in foil containers with clear directions for heating and serving. We were all blown away with the food! From his homemade balsamic salad dressing, to the delicious lemon chicken with rice, beef tenderloin with roasted potatoes, and crisp asparagus, everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. I feel so fortunate to have found Chef Shawn and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him! 10/10!

My husband and I have had over 30 years in the food industry and can confidently tell you that Chef Shawn provides a wonderful dining experience. We requested an unusual appetizer, which he researched and tested to get the very best recipe. The menu was selected after consulting with Chef Shawn. We had several appetizers and a magnificent entrée. Everything was perfectly prepared and cooked to perfection. Chef Shawn provided a fine dining experience in our home. We were extremely pleased with the entire event.
