We had an awesome experience rafting down the river! We got a big group together (around 70 people) and just had a blast. The people were great, they got us on our rafts quickly and let us start our adventure. We brought water rifles and cannons to make the experience even better. I would highly recommend this awesome adventure to anyone!

I came here with my girlfriends family they were welcoming the boats were well taken care of they explain what you should do and what you should not do when you’re rafting. They gave your life jackets and paddles it was easy to get in the boat. It’s like a five hour down the river ride there are some spots where you can stop and chill and get off the boat. The river was clean there was no trash. Once we got to the end they helped us pull the boat out of the river and there was an area where we would have to leave our vez our paddles and they had a bus there for us so it could take us back to our vehicle. We will definitely be going there again. I would recommend this to families with young kids because it’s not that crazy of a river i’m gonna say 80% of the time it’s super chill in that 20% you might go just a bit faster than chill even then it’s not that fast. Bring your kids it’s fun!!

Landscape and rafting experience is superb. Would be 5 stars if the staff was better. Customer service is clearly not a priority for any of them. They barely talk to you, if at all, and have an attitude when they do. The guy at the end of the rafting experience didn’t say a single word to us, even after we talked to him and tried to joke around. Not a single staff member was redeeming, they all were snooty. If there was one outstanding one it would have overshadowed all the bad ones. Disappointing because the rest of the experience is awesome.

Beautiful. Staff really helpful. Easy. They help with parking, showing you, instructions, bringing you back etc. Highly recommend this trip, however I just have to say that you'll need 3-4 adults rowing otherwise it'll take you 6.5 hrs what it took me and my wife to complete the trip. The more capable adults that help you row, the faster you finish. Most people that started with 3+ more adults finished in 4-5 hrs. The only thing I could say is that prepare to be here all day long and lastly If your water for a swim in the water know that the water is cold 55-60 F.

Our group had a not good experience today from beginning to end. Staff provided poor customer service and were rude. We felt micromanaged. Staff searched our ice chests, dry bags, purses, and all bags rudely looking for alcohol. Our bus driver was asleep for 15 minutes then realized we were waiting for a bus ride. He, too, was unfriendly. Our group are respectful working professionals just trying to make good memories on the river; however, it was not worth the $50 per person expense or preparation or time.

This was the best experience I have ever had! The staff was amazing, easy parking, easy to find. You feel safe in the rafts. My family and I had the BEST time of our lives!! Going again next year!

This was our 2nd time coming to Sunshine Rafting and our first time not being allowed to bring beer on the river? We have never not been allowed to bring booze on any river trip. Beer and rafting go together like peanut butter and jelly! There were TWO bag check points and they confiscated any alcohol in the coolers... except for ours because its just a bunch of teenagers doing the checks and they weren't super observant, but shh. Dont tell. I understand this is a family-friendly activity, and maybe there have been groups that were too rowdy in the past, but I think a no alcohol rule is excessive. I'd be willing to pay an insurance charge if we bring alcohol. That's why I took off 2 stars. Because of that stupid rule, we won't be coming back.

My family have been rafting on the Stanislaus River for years now. We try to make it a yearly trip and it never disappoints! Every one has a great time and we’re talking about it for months. The staff is so kind and professional. Can always count on them to give us a good time. We will most definitely continue to raft with them in years to come (:
