Great service and the food was delicious! The presentation of all the dishes at our table (only mine pictured here) was really nice. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food! The lobster bisque was one of the best I have ever had. Definitely pricer place to eat but worth it. Our server was also such a sweetheart and accommodating to our groups needs and request.

My husband set up a date night for us and decided to try somewhere new (to us). So glad he chose Stoney's! I usually only get my oyster "fix" when we visit the beach because they just never taste the same in local settings. Well, Stoney's has proven me wrong! I went out on a limb and tried their MD, VA, and CT oyster selection. MD was my favorite but they were all fantastic. Here's the list of other menu items we tried: Campfire Old Fashioned, Stoney's Old Fashioned, Oaxaca Old Fashioned, crab pizza, lobster roll, and sirloin Imperial. We enjoyed everything, but our favorites (besides the oysters for me!) were the lobster roll and sirloin. Hands down the best lobster roll we've ever had! I asked for a rare temp on the sirloin. I was prepared to be disappointed because I've never actually received a cool, red center in a restaurant. I wasn't! It came out perfectly cooked and had a delicious flavor even without the shrimp and crab. As an FYI, the crab pizza is more like deconstructed crab dip on a thin cracker. We weren't expecting it since it's called "pizza" but it did have great flavor and crunch. We'll definitely be back for $1 oyster night as well as to try the other cocktails and menu items! 🥰

Hidden gem! The ladies at the bar were so nice and provided great conversation. The oysters were fresh, crab & corn chowder was flavorful, and you really can't go wrong with their drink selections! Will be back!

We are visiting from PA. Outstanding hospitality and service. The owner was at our table multiple times as well as our server & the manager. We had the crab nachos for an appetizer, fish tacos & salmon with pork belly. My husband had a whiskey flight & I had the Riesling. I am definitely stopping back here as we go to Roanoke frequently. I highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Stoney's Whiskey, Wine and Raw Bar is a bar and restaurant located in downtown Martinsburg. There are two indoor dining rooms, bar seating and a patio area.
Overall, a nice enough dining experience, yet something was missing(3.5, I rounded down vs up because I'm on the fence if we will try again with different menu items)
We were seated near the kitchen and there was a bit of a fishy odor wafting out. Service was good,  not above and beyond. Our server kind of darted in and away from our table very quickly each 'stop by". We had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled.
Large selection of bourbon, and interesting coctails.
Swordfish was cut very thin, dry and tasted fishy. Fresh fish shouldnt smell fishy.
Brussels could have been cooked longer and seasoned more.
Crab and shrimp with the steak were both dry as well and a little fishy.
2 oz. of the filet were great, 2 oz  a little chewy.
What we ate:
Steak Imperial: 4oz fillet topped with crab and shrimp, fingerling potatos
Mediterean Swordfish: feta, tomatoes, and corn salad
Baked Brussel sprouts
Summer Spritz: vodka, lemonade, strawberry syrup, seltzer

Other: street parking and public pay lot next door. Pay lot is free on weekends. Online reservations through Eat App.

The outside looked great. I drove by. It was a slow drive by so I could peer in the window. The car ahead hit their brakes and I hit them. I quickly drove around the block and parked in a dark alley. I then did a walk by to see if they were open but no, I will have to come back. It looked nice inside. See you soon Mr Stoney

A very good dinner. Server Mercedes was great. Food excellent. Everything prepared to perfection. (Steak-chefs kiss, lobster- amazing) There was a significant delay in food getting to table but manager was extremely generous in comping the entire dinner. It was an amazing gesture and very appreciated. Thank you!

Follow up- the manager of the restaurant reached out to me apologizing for our dinner. He admitted they may have overextended themselves. We will definitely give them another chance.

Went for the valentines Day dinner. We expected slow service and got that. But that’s ok since that was to be somewhat expected. Food was not very good. The V day menu included a shared appetizer, entree for each of us and a shared dessert. Appetizer was old bay shrimp on puff pastry that didn’t have any old bay seasoning. They also brought only 3 pieces even though it’s supposed to be shared. Why not 4 pieces so each could have 2. Steak was well prepared but had absolutely no flavor. Has the chef heard of seasoning with salt and pepper before cooking. And the special Valentine’s Day dessert was a brownie with two small dollops of whipped cream. Nothing else. And to add insult to injury they charge you a fee to pay with credit card (nothing mentioned in the reservation or menu). Hard for me to justify going back despite an extensive bourbon list.
