Had a great time with David on the Owen’s River for a guided trip. He was fun and personable to talk to and helped us to catch several trout and gave us plenty of tips and tricks of the trade. Highly recommend!

Stopped in to talk to Dave and buy some flies. Dave guided me years ago on the Kern so it was nice to chat with him. (Great guide) As always, Dave shared his knowledge and fly choices. I had a great mid March day on the Lower Owens! Lots of fish, here are pics of a couple 15's

I stopped in on Wednesday to pick up some flies and get information and asked if there’s any possibility to schedule a guided trip for Thursday which was pretty short notice. Fortunately I was able to schedule a trip. It was an amazing trip today ( thursay the 8th ) and caught many trout! I’ll be returning again for more trips

Just want to throw up a 5 star review for Dave, The Sierra Trout Magnet.
I traveled from Los Angeles to do a little fishing, and Dave showed us the ropes!
Dave is professional, funny, dedicated and interested in your experience.
Before we went up there, he followed up several times on the phone, just to make sure we were prepared for a real fishing experience.When we got to fishing... I had a fish on my line in '2 minutes', really I did!
I can't say enough good about this guy!
He really made our fishing trip a wonderful memory!

I stopped in the store for last-minute advice for where to fish since the lower Owens was unfishable. I got great advice on flies and higher elevation places to fish. And I ended up catching a personal best brown, which was really amazing.

Can’t ask for a better guide than David, he’s a lot of fun to fish with and knows the waters in the eastern sierra really well. We fished the Upper Owens on a very cold morning, and while it seemed like no one else was catching fish out there, he put me on fish after fish after fish, and all of them were big.

we walked in when the lower owens was too high to fish. the advice we got: go here, fish these flies. we caught lots of fish. love the attitude and appreciate the advice. will stop here every time i drive through Bishop.
