As others have said they are in the middle of remodeling the property. The rooms are now updated with everything new and clean. Having vinyl floors was wonderful, although they do need to mop more frequently. My feet were black after walking around barefoot. As someone with allergies I appreciated the lack of odors, dust, etc. shower head was A+. I didn't note the name of the gal working the front desk and coordinating all the repairs staff etc but she was doing a great job.

WiFi needs to be upgraded. It was super slow and dropped frequently on both 2G and 5G channels.

Whatever negative reviews this motel might have had in the past -- throw them out! It's currently being renovated and I got to stay in a new room. I can confidently say I've never stayed in a nicer motel for the price. All new furnishings, classy interior rooms, and smart LED lighting. Maria at the front desk is an absolute gem as well.

We stayed here in 2022 for mule days and then this year (2024) for mule days. The difference was night and day. The rooms were completely renovated & bright, the bathroom was super nice and clean, I have zero complaints. We will definitely be back for years to come.

We stayed here because the rate was cheap. We were on our way to see our family for Christmas. We love stopping in Bishop for the great small town experience, great food, etc. This motel is one we will not stay at again. When we arrived at 2:00 p.m. no one was there to greet us. We waited about 15 minutes. They came to greet us, checked us in. When we went to our room, it smelled as if smokers had occupied previously. It was clean as far as clean sheets, towels, bathroom. Not sure how clean the carpet was. We opened up a small closet and there were some clothes from someone else left behind on the floor, obviously missed by the housekeeping crew. We left for the evening to go into town. Just slept there for the night and left VERY early the following morning. Didn't hang around for breakfast. Seriously, we won't stay there again.

Hotel has potential. Big property but is being run down because there is a lack of staff. Front desk person and one maid cannot possibly maintain entire property alone. No upkeep, so everything is aging. When things get worn out they need replacing. Free breakfast? Gross! Cold cereal, cheap loaf of bread sitting by a dirty toaster in a filthy room. The wreak of the trash can sitting right outside the door is so unsanitary. It has to be moved. No one is maintaining the area. Spills from day's still everywhere. They asked if you only NEED maid service to ask because they really don't have the resources. Towels are gross. Bed's appeared clean. No microwave, fridge in room. Have to use dirty little microwave in common use area. " No frills" hotel is exactly that. But dirty and offering vending and breakfast etc. Not true. Machine broken. Owner of property needs to step up. Property won't last at this rate. We were staying all week in Bishop but checked out to go to another place.

The key to the room didn't work when we arrived. The cleaning lady took her time getting us another one. She at least let us in instead of making us stand outside.

The room was clean but the shower was disgusting. It felt slippery as soon as I stepped in. It looked as though there's a mold problem.
