The welcome was absolutely amazing. Curt Baker and Ky Wood are so friendly and genuinely made me feel like a personal guest from the moment I walked in the door. They were happy to recommend local establishments that are their personal favorites. The hospitality has been beyond expectations. The main lobby is very nice, coffee readily available, and a relaxing atmosphere. The room I had could use an update, but it's not rundown by any means. The room has everything I could want from a hotel room. It's clean (even under the bed and by the nightstands). The bed is firm but not hard. The pillows are decent, not the ones that go flat as soon as you lay down. Water gets hot quickly, and is actually hot. Pressure in shower is good. I will definitely stay again if I'm back in the area.

The stay itself wasn't so bad I actually would stay again but pay cash. I've been waiting for my charges to come out of pending for over a month which means my deposit is still not back in my account. I don't mind paying for what I used but give me my damn deposit back.

I’ve been visiting this hotel for over 10 years, when coming home to visit family. This visit was for my sick mom, Always been my go to place. On 2/15/25 I did online like always, walked in said I have reservations, they needed explorer form I sent to them l.via email swiped card for room, then was said there will be a second swipe for incidentals of $250, I asked explain this to me she said I don’t know how this work, I said I never ever had this happen, young lady said because I’m local this is the fee, Then I said I’m not local and said you looked at my drivers license, now that I’m not local it’s $150 because I’m from another state, manager came and said they not Marriott anymore this is why the incidental fee, I ask to cancel room and left ,,, Do Not swipe for incidental just go else where.
I will never go here again and will make sure all the summer business we’re giving you guys are gone else where

Need a place to stay with little kids to break up a trip to Indianapolis. We found Springhill suites in Peoria and thought it can’t be that bad because it’s a Marriott property. Boy were we wrong. ||When we arrived we found out the pool was “down for maintenance”. In reading reviews it sounds like the pool has been down since at least January. We went to look at the pool to see what was going on. There were HVAC units being stored in the pool room and the lights were hanging out of their sockets in the pool itself. No mention of this was made when I called the hotel to make my reservation and discount was offered for the misleading information. ||Upon entering the room you could tell it was very dated and lacked maintenance. My 1 year old son quickly found that the door stop was not secured to the floor and was found sitting with the door stop and a 4” screw after he pulled it out of the carpet. ||The good about the hotel is it is near a lot of decently priced food options. ||Time for bed, or so we thought. The beds are very hard, pillows too soft and sheets scratchy. This made for a short night. ||In the morning we got up to find that the shower in our room was broke and we could not shower. Thankfully family was staying in an adjoining room so we could shower over there. We called the front desk and they said “we can give you 1500 points” uhh ok I guess. That does nothing for me since I still don’t have a working shower in my room. Also, how was the shower even cleaned when the shower was broken. ||We headed down to a very limited breakfast. The highlight of the breakfast was the microwaved sausage patties that resembled hockey pucks. ||My son had white socks on in our room for less than 2 hours. When we left the hotel the socks were so dirty from the floor in our room that we had to change them. The carpet is full of stains and there was no way housekeeping had done any floor cleaning in the room. ||We made a list of issues during the stay and made contact with the front desk upon checkout. Sorry’s were given but they couldn’t not process any refunds as the GM had to review the issues first and they were not present at the hotel at 9:45am on a Friday. We pressed some more and were able to get an employee to process full refunds on both rooms. ||Trust the reviews on here. Marriott has lost a customer over their blatant disregard for this property.

Room was clean, so clean the carpet and sofa were wet for them being steam cleaned just hours before. Room was damp windows had condensation dripping down them, breakfast was a COMPLETE FAILURE on there half. Food was basically nonexistent. What scraps were there were either burnt or fossilized. Coffee pots were Empty!!! When I said something to the breakfast lady she looked offended...

I requested a room without air fresheners or cleaned without scented stuff and room was super fragrances like the rest of the place. Staff doesn't take this health issues seriously despite requests. We will not come back. They lost booking 4 rooms.

Nice large rooms with kitchenette and dining area make both long and short stays quite comfortable. Snacks are available in the lobby all day, and there are even warm cookies in the evening! Breakfast buffet has descent variety and is super convenient. Rooms show their age, but plans are in the works for a refresh. All in all a great value and experience.

Positive: Location was right off the freeway, quiet, lots of restaurants and shops around. Negative: Carpeting was filthy in all areas. Breakfast was not good. Nothing being refilled while breakfast attendant chatted with her friends at the desk. Choice was extremely limited unless you wanted cereal.
