We have been staying here for 2 years now and hope to continue. Our family loves the open concept of the main floor and being steps from the lake. We spend as much time as we can on the water, beachfront and making campfires. It is always wonderful to return to the house, where it is clean, well stocked and very comfortable for more games and lots of laughs. It is modern, clean, comfortable and well stocked with all the comforts of home. The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating, just all around wonderful people! Can't wait to come back!

I had the pleasure of spending four nights at this beautiful home in October! The location is absolutely perfect. Close to town but situated right on the lake with private beach access. The house itself is gorgeous and the porch overlooking the lake is large and spectacular! The inside of the house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with all the essentials. We cooked in a few nights and it had everything we needed to prepare a large family meal. The beds were comfortable, the showers were amazing, and overall the accommodations couldn't have been better. I knew this was a nice rental so I expected that it would have the comforts but I was surprised by all the small touches. For example, the bathroom towels are luxurious, the house was stocked with nice quality shampoos/soaps, etc, and they had coffee and all the fixin' for us. There were two large seating areas to hang out and enjoy TV if you wish. The dining room table was large enough for everyone. Really, I couldn't have asked for anything better. We will be back at our next opportunity!

We loved our stay at the lake! The home was as advertised. Super clean, very spacious and comfortable. Big table for meals, comfortable seating in family room overlooking the lake, and lots of seating on the deck. Lots of dishes, utensils, cups, storage containers, etc., which made making meals easy. Very well stocked with towels, including beach towels. We loved using the paddle boat and kayaks on crystal clear Spofford Lake and appreciated that there were plenty of life jackets for use. Enjoyed our trip to the gorge and our time in Brattleboro and Keene, but most of all loved our time soaking up the beautiful scenery at the lake. Would stay here again!

Contemporary house with beautiful lakefront views and ample space for gathering. It was such a treat to stay here during peak foliage. The hosts are fabulous. They keep the place very clean and stocked with everything you might need. I was especially impressed with the kitchen, bathrooms, closets, and deck (practicing yoga while overlooking the lake was heaven). Can’t recommend enough!!

My siblings and I stayed here fall of 2021. All of us found the home as spacious, clean, charming, welcoming. Our stay was far too short but plan to come back for another visit to further enjoy the tranquil view, deck, water sports. This is a great place for family stays or getaways with friends! High recommend!!

We stayed here last September for a family reunion. What a great place! Cozy yet spacious in a lush, beautiful setting overlooking the lake. The hosts are so gracious and make you feel at home. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. Hope to get back to Spofford Lake and this wonderful place again soon!

We spent Memorial Day weekend 2023 at 41 South Shore Road in beautiful Chesterfield, NH. The property was very clean and well appointed! It's a perfect spot on one of our favorite nearby lakes! We were there to celebrate my son's 16th birthday, along with the holiday weekend, and the downstairs quarters were perfect for he and his two friends. We would 100% love to return to 41 South Shore Rd if and when we get the opportunity!

My family stayed here in July of 2021 and we had a great experience. The house was spacious and clean and we enjoyed spending time together on the porch overlooking the lake. We will be booking again when my family visits from out of town next summer!
