Was with Koi, Ernie, and John on my first mountain biking excursion. Was very tough but they continued to push myself and our group to keep going and the views and knowledge was amazing. If you are in Tucson and are looking for a beautiful view and a chance to push yourself look no further. This was the highlight of my entire trip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

I recently spent a week mountain biking with Southwest Trekking. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. My daily guide was Mathew Laney ( PNUT ). The whole organization was top notch, I was able to improve my technique significantly and and I felt I was in good hands.
Mathew was a good teacher as well as probably the best guide I have had.
I have been biking for 50+ yrs and I have been on many bike trips, this is on my "A" list and I hope to go again soon.

Our group showed up to Starr Pass ready to bike a very very demanding trail. They provided us with beaten up department store mountain bikes that are only good for biking down the street - not a technically challenging ride like Starr Pass. Shame on JW Marriott for renting this nonsense to us.
