Last week, I had the pleasure of experiencing Sharkey’s Glass Bottom Tours, and I can honestly say it was outstanding from start to finish.

From the moment I booked the tour, the staff proved to be accommodating and extremely attentive to my requests. The process was straightforward and hassle-free, setting a positive tone for the entire adventure.

Despite a last-minute change in the meeting location due to weather conditions, Sharkey’s commitment to safety was clear. They managed the situation seamlessly, ensuring that all guests remained secure without compromising on the quality of the experience.

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a friendly team who took the time to explain everything in detail. I was joined by my girlfriend and her son—both new to kayaking—and the staff made sure everyone was comfortable and well-informed by thoroughly explaining all safety procedures.

A special shoutout goes to our tour guides, Aaron and Collin. Aaron’s detailed explanations of each stage of the tour enriched our experience, while Collin’s careful oversight kept the group well-coordinated and safe throughout the excursion.

The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the fish feeding session, where we were treated to a mesmerizing display of marine life. It truly was an evening to remember!

This was the BEST experience. It is truly so unique and nothing I had ever done before!!! Logan and Roger were our tour guides and they were so kind and funny and made it such a wonderful experience. They were so knowledgeable about the birds, the marine life, and even some of the homes around the tour. I would DEFINITELY do this again and bring more of my friends along! The fish feeding was so fun and one of the coolest parts of the tour! I loved how with the LED lights you can almost see all the way down to the sand the whole time! 10/10

This was my first time doing a tour like this, I thought it would be a cool date night with the wife. I was not let down the whole crew was awesome and accommodating, they were patient and very knowledgeable about the area. It was so much fun that we are bringing the whole family on the next adventure. I want to see the other locations as I’m sure they will continue to get better and better. I recommend this for everyone, whether you go with someone or alone it’s a great time.

We did the glass bottom tour at Sharkey’s in Tampa, and it was such a cool experience! The weather got really bad just before our tour, but the staff was kind enough to wait for us and ensure we still got to enjoy it. They also honored a discount for my husband, who is a former military officer and a firefighter/first responder, which was a really nice gesture. If you’re looking for a discount, they offer one if you pay in cash. The crew was super friendly, and it was so neat to see everything from the glass bottom of the boat. Finding affordable activities in Tampa can be tough, and this tour was about $110 for both of us—worth every penny! Definitely recommend it for a fun day out with great service.

Had so much fun! Learned a lot, feeding the fish was an interesting experience. Just wish they had kayaks for solo people my seat wasn’t completely on the black mat so kept sliding backwards and felt like I was going to fall into the water half of the time.

Highly reccomend going during the full moon! It was spectacular.
I enjoyed the guide's narration and the safety instructions first were good reminders not to take off by yourself, which 2 kayaks did! 😆 Guide had to go round them up and bring 'em back to the group.
We fed fish and watching them come to the surface was really fun.
Will do this again!

WOW WOW WOW!! We visited from Asheville, NC & let me just say first, our tour guides were absolutely amazing, Calep & Austin were so friendly & welcoming with any questions we had as well as during the whole tour. Second, we saw all sorts of marine life we didn't get to see on our days at the beach; this tour is 1000% worth it if you're considering taking yourself or your whole family! I personally saw Austin interact a bunch with the kiddos to make them feel more comfortable. Calep was hilarious, always kept a smile on our faces. AND they mentioned a great Italian place after the tour for us to try; make sure you ask them about it! 10/10.
