My husband and I received a gift certificate for a Seabird Cruise as a wedding gift in October. Last night Captain Chip treated us to a beautiful sunset cruise. We went through Essex & Hamburg Cove & we witnessed a gorgeous sunset & the dance of the Swallows. It was just magical. We booked Seabird cruises for my bachelorette trip and it was wonderful! We were able to customize where we went during the cruise and bring picnic snacks and wine aboard. Captain Chip met us right at the front of the marina and it was easy to find and hop aboard. Captain Chip was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area! Best CT cruise I’ve taken, would highly recommend!

My wife and I booked a sunset cruise with Captain Chip aboard the Seabird for our 25th wedding anniversary. Captain Chip's knowledge of boating, the Connecticut River and the history of the river valley towns is impressive. Chip's easy going personality perfectly complements his gift of telling his passengers the stories behind the sights he is showing them. The boat Seabird is a comfortable vessel. Plenty of room and clean. The captain takes safety seriously as well. Highly recommend!

What a great experience! Truly worth every penny. Captain Chip is very knowledgable about the area and shared fascinating information about the history of the towns of Old Saybrook, Old Lyme and Fenwick. We enjoyed our private charter experience and are already planning to do it again!

4 of us booked Chip and Seabird for a lunchtime cruise. The cruise had to be rescheduled due to weather. Chip was very accommodating in coming up with an alternative date/time that worked for us. As for the cruise itself - we loved it! The boat is very nice and picturesque. Chip was friendly, informative, and competent. We thoroughly enjoyed our outing and would highly recommend this to others.

Captain Chip and his beautiful Dyer 29 made our day exceptional. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Chip was awesome and even provided a delicious charcuterie board for us to feast upon. We will definitely be returning for another cruise...Thanks Captain Chip!!!!
