Stayed here for a night with friends to have a spa weekend. The spa services were great and we were looking forward to the other amenities (sauna, steam room, pool, hot tub), to find out that these amenities were for the whole hotel to use, not just the spa customers. We were expecting a quiet, relaxing time but the pool/sauna/steam room, were not that, which was disappointing. The room was nice and had a fireplace which we were able to have someone light. We specifically came here for the spa, but the whole experience was underwhelming for the price we paid.

I had chosen this inn for a relaxing spa day with friends on my birthday. Upon arrival no one had welcomed us for almost 5 minutes due to only one person at the front desk. Once we were checked in we had decided to soak for a bit in the pool. On our way to the pool we had noticed a lot of splashing in the pool area. Little did we know that during spa hours they have water aerobic classes and children running around. And no where is it posted that the spa facilities were shared with the hotel. I wanted to cancel my entire day at this point but i hoped for a better day. Next was the massage that was mediocre and not relaxing at all. The facial I received shortly after was very good. And I would like to thank Pamela! But my overall experience and cost of this spa ruined my day and chances of ever returning.

We enjoyed our stay very much with our dog. We didn’t get the room we asked for, that they promised, but the alternate room was still very nice. we also ordered room service from the restaurant. If we had realized there were so many fees for having the food delivered, we would’ve went down and picked it up ourselves, a very short walk. There were also some noisy neighbors across the hall, but I guess that’s to be expected at a hotel that offers weddings. But other than these few things, we had a very nice time so I would rate it a four star Overall.

My experience did not live up to the hype I was anticipating. While the spa was wonderful, the hotel itself was a completely different story. My room was located on the first floor for an overnight stay on Saturday night. The staff was kind enough, and check in was very easy. When I first got into my room, I was a little disappointed. The furniture was bumped and banged into countless times with no repairs done (I wish I took pictures). The bed and blankets were also very uncomfortable and the bathroom was mediocre. For $500 a night after taxes, I was really expecting something more than what could be compared to a mediocre motel room.

If you are staying on the first floor, be prepared to be up all night. With all the events and parties scheduled at this resort, it gets very loud. People were walking past my door screaming, talking very loudly, and even banging into my door until 2 am. The staff didn’t seem to care.

Check out was 11 am on Sunday, and while not the hotel’s fault, I was a tad disappointed that the stores in the town were either closed all day or didn’t open until noon! So instead of walking around the town, I had a slow morning. With the sun being out I had a better look at the room. The blinds were disgusting, to say the least. They turned brown from I’m guessing months to years of not being washed. Also, it may be because I work in the industry, the construction was horrible. I could see screws, spackle, and the wallpaper was all damaged and bumpy.

If you are coming from the spa, I highly recommend staying somewhere else. The price was not at all worth it.

All service was excellent - especially for family birthday party ! And as always your staff are very good with our dog. Our room had a lovely "side" view of the water ... and the bed was so comfortable. The bar snacks were a perfect prelude to our dinner.

Loved the hotel! My room seemed as if it had recently been upgraded. Rug was new and clean. Bedding was extremely comfortable. Amenities in bathroom were fine and it all seemed new. Could have done without the frilly curtains over the shower but realize it’s part of the decor. All in all a good stay.

So I stay here frequently and it is my favorite place to stay for many reasons. The staff is always so sweet, patient and thoughtful, all of them...hard to do but they always deliver. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are beautiful. The location is incredible and while it's very hard to do...the spa and restaurant are always perfection! The Spa staff and services are the best I have had and Fresh Salt is always superb. After all that the gym is a great facility, so....not sure how you guys always put it all together at such a high quality level but you do. Love you all !!!

Lovely Boutique resort hotel on ocean. Appointed large rooms with views with old world decor that takes you back. Fresh linens. Great food we attended a holiday party cateted by the hotel. I did not use the salt pool but its on the list for the next visit. Peaceful. Well located on the point.
