Our ride today with San Juan sled dogs was so magical. I want to point out we rode on wheels today as there is not enough snow right now. I’m so glad we went for it and had the experience of a lifetime. The guides are INCREDIBLE and so sweet and knowledgeable. They really taught these central Texans something new! We had a wonderful time on our adventure with San Juan Sled Dogs. There hasn’t been much snow this year and we were nervous but decided to try the wheels option and are so glad we did! It made the trip possible for three members of our family (the two year old and the grandparents) who could not have joined with sleds. The kids loved every moment of it - especially when the dogs pulled us without the motor assist - and the magic of the views and the morning is a key memory of our holiday. Highly recommend not letting the fickle Colorado weather change your plans - whatever the vehicle it’s a memory worth making!

This was our second year of dog sledding with San Juan Sled Dogs. They are the absolute best. They provide education on the animals and made the experience unforgettable. Our dog sledding experience was fantastic! The ride up, friendly mushers, adorable dogs, and the snacks were all perfect. We chose to skip the hot beverages so that we had more time to met all of the dogs. It was fun helping drive the sled too. The views were breathtaking. We cant wait to come back again!

We had such a great time with San Juan Sled Dogs!!! The staff truly loves what they do and sharing it with others. The dogs love running and getting lots of attention - it was so fun learning about their personalities. I highly recommend adding this experience to your mountain adventures!!

The vacation activity you didn’t know you needed to do in your life time! The staffs welcome and care is enough to keep you warm on a freezing Colorado day! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and have a great experience. The whole family loved every second of it, from the sledding experience, to petting all the dogs and snacks by the fire! There is no doubt this will be a core memory for my kids! I can see it being a great date or honeymoon adventure, for sure. They make every step easy. All you have to do is dress warm and show up! Even taking pictures for you all along the way! Worth every penny! 100% recommended …even if you aren’t crazy about dogs, you get to see them working and loving what they do! Thanks for a great experience, we can’t say enough!

Awesome time! Great for kids! We loved the whole experience- especially getting to meet all the dogs after!! We went at 730 am. It was really cold with the wind! Keep that in mind when dressing. I definitely needed two pairs of socks. Also if you’re bringing young children, you take a ride up to the location, about 30-40 minutes so pack snacks! After the sledding, you do get hot chocolate, snacks and smores on the campfire which was a huge hit!! I would definitely do this again!

Fantastic experience with a highly knowledgeable crew! Our kids loved the entire thing. They have a cozy campsite where I stayed back with our toddler while the rest of the family went out on the trails. The photos are fantastic and so appreciated so we could just enjoy the experience. Everyone was welcoming for our family. 10/10 recommend this once in a lifetime outing!
