My mother passed away, and we needed to donate a houseful of paintings. I got lost on the way and ended up at the Del Norte family center. The wo perfume person there directed me to the F Street center. There a number of wonderful people helped me with unloading my car. I feel so much better knowing my mother's paintings are in such good and loving hands.

If you didn't know, Salvation Army is actually a Church. They help with food, PG&E and rent if funding is available. They also have many shelters and drug rehabs all over the world. If you see a kettle with a bell ringer please donate, even if its just your change you have in your pocket. Salvation Army are also first responders for disasters all over the world.

Kind people who really care...I have been both a recipient of food and attended the church. I find both to be of great support to members of our community.
The pastor. I need not say more if you have the opportunity to meet him is a real follower of Christ.
I know if and when I need help I can go there and there will be loving hands to pray for me and if I need services I can obtain them too if they have the resources.
If I had the money to do so I would help the SA. There are lines of hungry people sometimes all the way to the street that they help.

Be here on Fridays for good vegetables and fruits plus more breads meet and get there early check in with ID address and line up for getting help with food

Salvation army is well known but the yuba Sutter core really has a lot in this community....they over see or assist almost all other agencies in the area as Our community is embracing "wrap around services.Salvation army run s. most all homeless services and what issues that involves.one of the things I liked about the core here is a clear chain of command.a clear out line of what would be expected of you in order to have a successful end.more than one chance.I very much plan to continue to support salvation army and it's efforts here.
