There are so many river companies in the valley & I’m thankful I decided to book with Salida River Adventures. They are a smaller company with a staff of very experienced guides. During our rafting trip we witnessed a couple other companies in action & it was very obvious the difference in professionalism. Our guide, Rex, was very knowledgeable & had no issue making all of us feel comfortable & safe while adapting to the different ages & experience levels on the boat. He shared cool info about the river & sounding area & even threw in a few jokes. All-in-all the whole trip was fantastic. I will never even consider using another rafting company.

Would highly recommend Salida River Adventures! We decided last minute to add this to our trip and were a little hesitant since we have a 7, 8 and 11 year old and had never been rafting before. Staff were super helpful explaining all the options and decided on Browns Canyon. Our guide Liz was awesome! Great pricing and didn’t charge extra for wetsuit and gear. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This was such a fun experience! We did the afternoon Whitewater rafting with class lll rapids and it was such a good time! Our guide Tad, made the experience so much better too! Highly recommend booking a Whitewater rafting adventure with this company. We seen other companies struggling the entire time, which made us even more glad we booked with this company. 10/10 experience!!

Had a blast! Our guide Shaun/Shawn was very friendly and knowledgeable & kind, the whole staff there was very friendly, some of our group was late and even then they were patient and kind. Explain all rules and what to do very thoroughly. If you decide to paddle, very good communication on when 🙂 They are a little new to the area and I 100% recommend that you adventure with them. 🙂 Super fun group and super fun rafting 😊

I took my 8yo son on the Brown's Canyon afternoon trip for his first whitewater adventure. Scott (the guide) was great at providing the safety/rafting instructions. He kept us informed and educated along the way. It was a great trip that will go down in the books as a great memory. Overall booking was easy, transportation was good/safe, and all the folks we interacted with were good. The only suggested improvement would be to upgrade some of the helmets. For those of us that are follically challenged, those plastics frames inside the blue helmets feel like they dig into you head a little bit. Maybe if I had a full head of hair this wouldn't be uncomfortable. 🙂

Salida River Adventures is great! We did an overnight trip in Brown's Canyon and had a fantastic time. Our guides were awesome, food was really good, and everyone had a really good time. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome!
We were passing through and decided to fulfill a dream!
My Son and I had a blast floating "Numbers" with Matt and Liz!
It was a first time for both us, but won't be the last.
Matt was great as our guide. He explained everything to us that would and could happen. Our safety was his number one goal. We were well instructed and understood our roles!
Matt, thankyou for helping this Dad make lifetime memories with my Son.
