I've stayed at this sweet treasure of a motel four times over a hand full of years. These are the nicest people you can ever hope for to house you for how ever many nights you want to stay! IF you are spoiled to 5☆ hotels go on down the road. Think of their place as staying at your family's home- because that's the way they view you. Family. The rooms are clean and simple. Aren't you in the area to be outside in nature's beauty? Where you sleep after being out in that should be just simple and comfortable.
Their lobby is so full of wonderful things to look at and even some to buy.
Folks they are a young couple trying hard to make a living out of giving you a safe place to stay, please support and protect them.
I'm not related nor am I paid to tell you these things. I only fell in love with them and there home away from home.
God bless them.
And.....at 75 I hope and pray I'll get to go there one more time.

What this hotel lacks in fancy amenities the owners make up for in personal attention! It's very basic and the building is on the older side. But it's clean and comfortable and was perfect for us for our 4 nights in town. The owner had lots of information about the mines and the crystals and could point you in the direction you needed. I loved the evening chats! I can't wait to come back!

Exactly as it claims, a place to rest after digging for crystals. The room was clean and the only bugs I found were ones that entered when we had the door open to unload our car. The only thing that was even slightly negative is their wifi was not very strong in our room but it was more of an issue for my toddler to stream something before bed; the rest of us were happy with the tv.
The pillows are on the thin side (at least ours were) but we had brought our own so that wasn't an issue for us.
Overall we will likely stay here again next time we go to mt ida for crystal digging

Booked room last min. Definitely not worth the money. $80 something dollars outdated, very dirty literally scraped soap scum off of tub with a knife long dark hair everywhere. Thick Dust on walls floor looked like hadn't been vacuumed. I asked for scrub brush he gave me 2 cleaning rags that didn't help pillows flat as pancakes. Bed is very uncomfortable. No microwave or fridge.

The Inn was very quiet. Its a little outdated but very clean. Unfortunately they were having issues with the pool and it may not have been open either way. I also feel that the internet needed a boost. We had a great time and would stay there again.

We stayed here overnight on our trip to the crystal mines. The rooms were cozy and Laura at the front desk was super nice, really great with my kids, gave me some good pointers on crystal mining and good places to eat. We slept extremely well as the rooms were nice and dark and no roudy people around. I definitely reccomend this Inn for families or anyone needing a good night's rest away from home.
