I can't say enough good things about Miller & Sons BBQ at Rock Creek Resort. The food is fantastic, plentiful and they were so easy to work with. We held a big event at the Rock Creek Lake Group Campsite and opted to have it catered, instead of having everyone make their own camp meals. We were able to pick up the food right across the street at Rock Creek Lodge. I got SO many compliments on the food. Pretty much everyone went back to seconds. We did the brisket, rips, chicken, mac & cheese and beans and it was all delicious. I'd recommend it all. And their homemade BBQ sauce! To die for.

Many of our guests stayed at the resort. Super convenient, to have that as an option for people who didn't want to camp. The staff was super helpful and pleasant. Great small-town feel. We'll be back!

Have stayed several times over the past 6 years. Love it. The cabins are very clean with good quality furnishings and linens. Have cooked on each trip and the kitchens have all the necessities, other than food of course. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

And you can’t beat the location - 10,000 feet in the Sierras with comfortable beds and hot showers at the end of the day.

Best hike is up the Gem Lakes Trail (Little Lakes Trail) rising from 10,200 at the picturesque trailhead to 11,000 feet at the final lakes.

We've been coming to Rock Creek Lake since the 1980's as kids. Now as parents with kids, Rock Creek and the Resort are a home away from home! The store is always well stocked with emergency items, ice, drinks, etc. Now for the food! WOW! The Brisket Sandwich is amazing and decently priced for the portions. AND THE PIE! Although Pie in the Sky is no more, Sue King is still around and her famous pies are still there. We had the Banana Cream, Lemon Cream, Chocolate Cream and the Cherry Cobbler during our week stay. ALL AMAZING!

Had a wonderful five-day vacation with my family. We stayed in a comfortable cabin at Rock Creek Lakes Resort. Easy access to the incredible Mosquito Flats and Little Lakes Wilderness with their rushing creeks and snow-capped mountains. We treated ourselves to desserts from the Resort store. Yummy. We all caught fish but they may not have totalled a pound. Highly recommend the resort.

We ate here on our way to a Pack trip. The place has great pies and smoked meats (sandwiches), outdoor seating only, but plenty of room and in full shade. They close the grill at 3, so plan accordingly. Didn't actually stay at the resort itself.
