Really enjoyed our stay here. We were able to make great use of the common areas, cooking a lot of meals, playing games, and associating with the other travelers. Our bunk bed mattresses were extremely comfortable. The location was pretty convenient, allowing us to park our car and walk around town after our day’s out. Best part was the hostel kitty Lucy.

My dad and I had a wonderful time staying at the Eastside Guesthouse. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well stocked. The outside spaces were a dream for a remote worker and the shared community space with kitchen and fridge access was fantastic. We commend them for their decarbonized heating and cooling using heat pumps. The washer and dryer worked great for a cheap price. Perfect for a backpacking base camp or stay in Bishop. The location is walkable to all the great spots in Bishop. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and keen to chat along with assist in any issues which would come up. The parking was ample and allowed us to turn around our large van with ease. Lucy the cat is a sweet companion to anyone who stays and we loved watching the ducks bob around in the pond on site. Could not recommend staying here highly enough - definitely the spot to go in Bishop!

I was hesitant to stay in the PCT bunkhouse thinking it would be like other hostels I’ve stayed in, but I was blown away by how nice it was. Everything was perfect! The common areas are clean, well appointed, comfortable, and stocked with details like organic coffee, and the room itself was extremely clean and comfy. I appreciated the curtains and earplugs in the room, which cut down on nighttime noise (there’s always one snorer :)). Also, the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This place is amazing!

This is a wonderful place to stay as a hiker or family visiting Bishop. They have a wide variety of accommodations. Including a relaxing pond, community indoor/outdoor kitchens, a few lovely grass areas with a shop that sells coffee and snacks. Can't wait to come back and definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Best stay on the trail so far. My laundry hasn't been so clean since Campo, seriously this is the first washing machine that actually cleaned our stuff.
Well equipped kitchen, great common area, cheap dorms, included laundry and loaner clothes. The outside area is big and there's always enough shade due to the big trees.
The hiker box could be bigger and the ice machine struggles to produce enough ice at times.

I've stayed here twice (once in winter for skiing, once in summer to hike) and both times it was awesome. The staff are great, the rooms and public areas are so nice. They really put a lot of thought and effort into the property. And it's walking distance to everything you need downtown.

I love staying here when I’m in Bishop. The rooms are great and the staff is always friendly (and the coffee is always great too). It is centrally located and everything you need is within walking distance. I recommend this place to everyone.
