My dad and I recently had the exhilarating experience of white water rafting on the James River, and it was nothing short of spectacular.

The river was pretty high, so we travelled a longer section for the same time. Loved our guide Hailey! She told us lots about the river area and worked to make the rapids fun. We were a group of 6, so we were in one boat. The trip is very fun! If you have never been white water rafting, this is an excellent place to start. I would highly recommend.

Great kayaking experience with Riverside Outfitters. Easy online booking, smooth check in, quick transport to drop off location, short introduction, then a wonderful 2 hour ride on the James River. Just went for our second trip to riverside outfitters. It was a great experience both times. Carrie was awesome!!! They make it an enjoyable experience and you don't even realize how much time has passed when you are done. Pictures aren't cheap but some are worth the buy.

This was our first time! And what a great time as it was part of our son graduation celebration! Sam is the best, he gave us so much information about the area and very knowledgeable! Hannah took us to the the river and she made it very enjoyable as well. This will not be the last time visiting the area and YOU MUST DO THIS! SO MUCH FUN! Great group of professionals, Great atmosphere before and after the trip on the water!

Love, love, LOVED our guides! Thank you Charles and Tod/Ty! So patient and humorous. Kept our group safe and entertained. We appreciated their expertise. The bus ride was fun, too! We were able to get wet while in and out of the boat! If you're ever near Richmond, highly recommend for some fun with friends and family!

Scott and Roxanne with Riverside Outfitters were amazing, they took such good care of us and I loved especially how gentle and caring to our special needs daughter. They made sure she was comfortable, safe and enjoyed herself just as much as the rest of our group. What an awesome first rafting ride and I will definitely take another rafting trip with Scott and Roxanne again. We could jot have had better guides, a big thanks from all of us.
