A hidden gem. We were looking for a place to spend a night on our west coast holiday. Rivers edge happened to be in the perfect location between two of our destination stops. It is just a couple of minutes off 101 but since its below the highway on the river bank you dont hear any highway noise. We woke up to lots of bird song and my wife said how nice it was to have so many birds here, I said the birds have been at all the campsites we stayed at but this one was the first that you can truly hear them. Nice easy walk to the river and well kept sites. Great reception by Mica and Jeremy and help backing into the site which I have not seen in decades. I wish our trip was not so set in stone on this leg or we would stay a few more days, its just so peaceful.

Talk about God's Country! This RV Park is nestled in an old sawmill town area I the middle of the mighty Redwoods. Our spot looks directly at the bluff and the Eel River. The cost is higher than some but well worth it.

We stopped by for just an overnight stay. We were greeted with a smile and how can we help you? Luckily they had an open spot and we were shown to our site. The host noticed that we had a flat tire on our tow vehicle and quickly went back for his truck with an air compressor! He stood out in the pouring rain helping my husband get it pumped up so we could get to an auto parts store. SO helpful and friendly! Well maintained grounds, clean, and beautiful river view! We'll definitely be stopping by again when we are in the area.

Great place to stay. I travel for work for 13 weeks at a time and we are so grateful to have found this spot. The view is amazing. It is peaceful and quiet . The management is wonderful and stays on top of the landscaping. We really appreciate the fact that if you are not a registered visitor they are on it immediately! We have not had to worry about a thing being stolen or broken in to! I can not think of one bad thing to say! Lots of wildlife with nesting ospreys right across the river.

Beautiful location and view! I stayed a month. The hosts were very professional, helping me back-in and get acquainted. I felt very safe here as a solo traveler and had super kind neighbors. The Redwoods, and grocery are nearby and I had great cell reception.

My better half and i lived at the River’s Edge for 7 months of 2019. This is a beautiful river and bluff setting with the back drop of a lumber town virtually untouched by time! Close by within minutes is every convenience including markets, gas stations, restaurants, churches, and public schools!
My observation of the River’s Edge is that it is very well-maintained grounds, managers live on site, they are friendly, but not intrusive, laundry on site kept clean, and you can not beat the views or the price!
Please STOP at the office before entering the park, the managers, Mika and Jeremy are very diligent about keeping out anyone that doesn’t live in the park. This is one of the biggest pluses of this park. This is a very safe park. If you have guests just inform the office beforehand. All the park rules are reasonable and can be read online.
We look forward to coming back to this lovely and friendly park!

This place is on the river the managers were the best I have ever seen. They were so helpful. I have never seen such wonderful friendly customer service. Lots of grass. The sites were quite large. They didnt have a pull through but helped us get our car off the car dolly then helped us get into our spot. Hooked up the TV brought us a remote control and showed us how to use it. Very very quiet place. A little pricey but it was worth it.
