This has been our 3rd year staying here! We absolutely do love it! We have alot of fun! Nice cabins! If I had to complain about anything, they need to pressure wash the wood deck, when it rained it was sooo slippery, cause they have built up mildew on them. We almost had a few falls . I think the picnic table and chairs down by the water need a pressure wash also. Otherwise overall cute resort.

We have been going to River's Edge for years. We absolutely love it! The old and new owners have always done a great job running this place. However the new owners have been putting so much work into this place i dont know how they do it. The cabins are being renovated and they are beautiful! Pickerel is my favorite, it is the only one we stay in as my fiance stayed there as a kid and brought so many memories for him and to be able to create new memories now with his kids is wonderful. Last september we took my 80 year old father and he loved it, the stairs were a challenge for him but that was his only complaint. (who likes stairs at 80) We highly recommend spending a weekend or longer here. It's quiet, comfortable and just gets you away from reality for a bit. We look forward to our trip every year.

After trying a lot of different places in the area this one the best place on the river! My family and I have been coming here for many years and we love it! Usually booking all the cabins for the whole family. Jason and Gayla are the best hosts, they make sure we have everything we need and ever since they became the owners this place has only been getting better. You can tell they put their all into making this place comfortable, homey and enjoyable for everyone. Everyone from the adults to the kids enjoy fishing on the pier and of the pontoons, playing games in the cabins and hangout around the fire. It has now become a tradition to come here with all our family and friends every year sometimes even more than once. We are looking forward for our next visit and can’t wait to come back!

After years of staying at other resorts we don't have to look any further than rivers edge. Jason and Gayla are the best hosts. The cabins are always clean and the new remodeled cabins are very roomy and look very nice, the brand new pier is also fantastic. We come here every year with our family and it is always exciting! We can not wait to come back!

We have been going to this resort for over 5 years and every year our experience has gotten better. We have seen vast improvements; from the remodeling of the two front cabins to the brand new sea wall. We have made friends there, the owners are so nice and accommodating and always available if you have an issue. This past week, it felt like we had summer, fall and spring weather and even an area wide power outage. During this power outage, we asked the owners for extra blankets and they came out of their way to supply us with what we needed at the time. This resort is in the perfect location for those with small kids since there is a playground across the street. Large dock area for fishing and boats! Fire ring by dock to over look the river while staying warm and the best sunsets in Fremont looking over river and lake.

We had an amazing time at this resort! The owners Jason and Gayla are famtastic. Adorable cottages steps from the water. Within walking distance from all the hotspots in Fremont. Very clean and anything you could need in a kitchen is provided. A fantastic family owned business.We highly recommend it and plan to make this a yearly trip.

Rivers edge resort is a beautiful place to stay the owners are very kind and always willing to help either over the phone or if needed are willing to come to the resort and help at the drop of a hat. Also the fishing was absolutely amazing I would come out every night relax and catch catfish. I got to have good conversation with the owners and they are very nice down to earth people they treated me like family. I am definitely coming back and will recommend Rivers edge resort to anyone wanting to come to the area.

Absolutely worst vacation of my life. Prepaid for three nights and left after the second night. Unless you rent a boat along with your cabin don’t expect to have a good time. No siding on the outside of our cabin. The door knob for the front door pulled right off the door. Luckily I always keep tools in my car. No lights on the outside of my cabin. People renting boats there are extremely inconsiderate of people fishing off shore. Will drive over your lines and park their boat right in front of where you are fishing. No organization of boat parking. Customer service practically nonexistent.

In response to their comment below: The only person that was yelling was me about how horrible it was to stay there. My issue isn’t with the fishing either. It is with the disorganized parking of your boats. The place was better when your parents were running it. Now it’s just a mess and the atmosphere isn’t pleasant. The fact that you tried to bad mouth me and my wife in your reply instead of correcting the situation just proves how horrible your customer service is. Btw siding is still a layer on the building to block the weather so it does effect the overall temperature inside the building. We also asked if we could leave the night before and you said you couldn’t refund us the money so when we exactly left is irrelevant. You also said you would call us back and you never did. We had to call you the following day. The door knob was on and working because I put it back on. It’s only on with one screw though because that’s all I could find.
