My daughter Mila had a great time riding Crane Beach in Ipswich. We met at North Road Farm where Jan put Mila to work right away. She was able to help tack up, prep her friend for the ride and load him up into the trailer. Then, for her to have almost two hours on the sand and shallow waters was the icing on the cake. Mila was in heaven. Thank you for a fun memorable day. Mila will not forget!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at North Road Farm. We booked a trail ride to serve as an intro to horses and horseback riding for our 6 year old son. After grooming the beautiful horses, our ride led us along the farm road by North Road Farm and back again. Jan was a great coach; in our short time with her we learned a lot. We hope to be back again to build on what we learned during our initial experience. Thank you!

We had a semi private group beginner lesson and the experience is great! They have a lot of training horses to choose from. They are all very friendly and easy to cue. I chose Chance to be my buddy and he is sweet!
Jan knows how to teach and made the class full of fun. She also took a lot of photos and videos for us. Anyway we enjoy the class and would want to learn more skills for sure!

What a great experience! Both the pre-ride lesson and beach ride far exceeded expectations! Jan and Beth were excellent trainers and guides. They were patient, informative and hands-on. The horses are truly gentle giants. Great temperaments and styles for novice or experienced riders. Highly recommend! Can’t brag enough about North Road Farm!

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience! The initial training done by Jan was fantastic. I thought I knew enough about riding horses, but I learned SO much more and Jan was very patient with me. Grooming the horse, understanding what they need and being able to feed them apples and carrots was great. The ride on the beach was the best ending to a wonderful day. Thank you, Jan!

I have been looking for a place that does trail rides not “follow the leader” style, and North Road Farm was perfect. I loved my ride with Jan, she gave me fun knowledge about horses and brushed up on skills I hadn’t used in awhile. If you’re looking to learn and ride, highly recommend!

The horse-riding experience was a gift for my girlfriend. She and I never rode horses before, but love horses. We took a lesson with Jan before our ride, then we had a chance to spend time grooming and feeding treats to the horses. Jan was so thorough and patient and taught us what we needed to know to have a safe and fun ride!
The ride was awesome! The horses were so sweet and friendly, and the trails and farms surrounding the horse farm are a perfect setting for a great experience. We had a great time!! Highly recommend for anyone who wants a super fun experience!
