I have been very happy with the management of our home. We do not live in a "vacation" destination yet, some how they keep my house rented. It's in Washington State so I am always pleased when they secure off season rentals. Payments are on time every month. The only thing I wish was different was to have the daily rental rate on statements by rental and somewhere in the owners log-in area. The "booking agent" is great about communicating and the house manager/housekeeper they got for the house has been wonderful to work with. The first rental in my home was 69 days as I recall. Nice website to view your upcoming rentals and it's very easy to book time for yourself!

Please DO NOT use Rental Advisor. As a traveling nurse, I have had many experiences booking short-term and long-term accommodations. This was a TERRIBLE experience. I initially was going to book the Mountain Laurel Getaway in Idaho through Airbnb but I was contacted by Yolanda Bachtell and redirected to Rental Advisors to complete my booking for a long-term rental (3 months). My rental agent, Ashlee Hyer, stated that they do not typically do long-term rentals and had a very difficult time calculating the total cost of the first month rent with the service fee, occupancy tax and so forth. There was one mistake after another. I paid for the entire month of March (including a $300.00 cleaning fee). Unfortunately, my hospital contract changed and I had to cancel my reservation within ONE week of reserving the Mountain Laurel Getaway. Mountain Laurel Getaway has no reservations until the end of June. I did not take away from any potential reservations. Both Yolanda Bachtell and Rental Advisor avoided me for an entire week before I received an email stating that I would get $0 back after my cancelation. Through Airbnb I would have been refunded at least 50% of my total cost. I have lost thousands of dollars and I am financially devastated. Both Yolanda Bachtell and Ashlee Hyer have failed to return an email, call or text. I have yet to see the refund of the $300.00 cleaning fee. This has been an awful experience.

This company and its affiliate Lavish Getaways (same phone number) is a disaster. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them. We rented an apartment in Hilo Lagoon Getaway on the Big Island for Xmas 2017 and NY, and were promised the AC would be working. On arrival the AC did not work and the door from the Living room to the veranda could not be opened either. It turned out that the AC had not been working since before the date we booked the place, and it would not be repaired prior to our departure date. This constitutes very bad business practice. We should have been informed before arrival, have been refunded fully and have been given the opportunity to find something else. Instead, we left after two nights and got only partially refunded. The outstanding amount equals about the average rate for 3 nights ($672), even though we stayed only 2 nights and the owner agreed to a reduced rate for those two nights. It appears as though we were charged the full rental rate plus full cleaning fee plus full admin fee etc etc. Very bad practices indeed and we had no option than to dispute the final charges with Visa. The company did not answer my repeated calls nor respond to my repeated emails. Moreover, they hide behind what they claim the owner of the apartment was agreeing to, even though our business was with them. Apparently, they feel no responsibility for this situation. In short, do yourself a favor and avoid their business. Period!!

My Rental Advisor has connected me with two guests for this summer. The guests have not arrived yet, but the process of booking and the payment was very simple. The payment was made much sooner and was transferred into my account more quickly than has been my experience with VRBO/HomeAway and especially Airbnb. I especially find tracing payment from VRBO/HomeAway confusing because the withholdings, (processing fee and credit card charges) are never reflected properly on their reports and the payment comes 3 or 4 days after they say they make the payment.
