We had a mixed experience - selling a house, Relax & Co helped clear out some items and also clean. The workers were all very professional and warm, on schedule, and did a solid B+/A- job of cleaning - vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Clear out was great. Also replaced torn porch window screen in a wooden frame.
However, one side of a sliding pocket door was knocked off its hanging rail by the cleaners (pic below - it’s never had an issue in 30+ years). I think they may have opened it too far when sliding open. When I noticed it before they left, they acknowledged it happened. The hanging door rail is embedded in wall, so tricky to access.
Later, following up through our realtor, Relax & Co said they didn’t think they should bear the responsibility to fix it. We were at a bit of an impasse - would we have to pay to fix? Would we have to try to convince Relax & Co to repair? Not the added stress you want amidst a house sale!
Luckily, it turned out the following week the prospective buyers were going to knock down that wall anyway. Whew.
So Relax & Co workers were great, but I was disappointed management gave some push back about the door and didn’t immediately offer to remedy the problem.

My brother, Rex Brigham, was at 302 Knollwood last week and R & Co plowed (I think) twice - and did a good job each time. However, I have one criticism and suggestion: I believe I asked that the driveway not be plowed unless/until at least 4" of snow had accumulated, and apparently on one occasion your crew plowed when only 1"-1 1/2" had accumulated. As I say, they do a really good job but please keep our 4" limit in mind going forward.

I was surrounded by moving boxes and just frantic, so I called Relax & Co! Next day, I had two folks here, and in no time the boxes were empty and paper and cardboard taken away. Will and Meredith, are very hard workers! I highly recommend Relax & Co.

Several months later:
My husband is away on a golfing trip, and didn’t UPS drop a huge box of furniture parts at my front door. (They were supposed to bring it in and put it upstairs for me, but no)
What to do CALL RELAX & CO!!
Literally, within minutes, two strong young men came and put the huge box upstairs for me.
These folks are fantastic, like having friends or family nearby (I don’t) to help with just about anything. Love them.

The ladies did a good job. However, they were on our schedule from 12 - 2 and showed up at 10 and left at 11:20. We were not given any notice of a time change, but fortunately we were home. Liz did ask if there was anything left to do. I should have checked but noticed the bedroom never got dusted. My priority is the bathrooms, all floors vacuumed and kitchen and bathroom floors mopped (or cleaned) and the dusting of the furniture in the den, living/ dining room and bedroom. It was my fault that I didn’t communicate this to them clearly. I just wanted to set these priorities. Thx.

Corey was fantastic! His attention to detail, his love and respect for old houses is top notch. He went the extra mile to fix a broken door knob that allowed us to keep the old handle of our 1785 house. Not the door opens and closes smoothly. He's so polite and professional.

I have used Relax & Co for several years and numerous services. Started out with them as a property management company for our family lake house (a job which they took seriously and surpassed all expectations). We ended up continuing to use their housekeeping services - the team is first rate and does a thorough, detailed job leaving the house sparkling clean. The staff across the board is friendly, accommodating and has a great attitude. Also, they did a bathroom renovation for my sister that was exceptional in quality and craftsmanship. The job was handled with care, precision and professionalism from start to finish. I have posted a photo of the finished product as well as a pic of the gorgeous mudroom they designed and built for her. This is a local company with old fashioned values and work ethic - they really are one stop shopping for all anything you might need for your home or vacation property. Honest and caring. Highly recommend.
