Stayed here one night, visiting my son at Olivet. Great location. Shelley at the front desk was awesome! Very friendly and knowledgeable. She even gave me the room with the best view (see picture). This is great for someone wanting an inexpensive place to stay for a night.

We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t be happier. The rooms were clean and the staff extremely friendly. For anyone local, this hotel has undergone major renovations since 2021 and isn’t what it used to be. You can’t beat it for the price. Shannon was extremely helpful to us throughout our stay, and Paul was very welcoming and friendly when we were checking out. We recommend it to visiting friends from out of town, and will definitely be back.

I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Bourbonnais on Route 50, and overall, it was a solid experience. The staff was friendly and professional, making check-in and check-out smooth. The room was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. However, there were a couple of things that stood out to me.

First, the water pressure was pretty low, which made showers less enjoyable. If that could be improved, it would make a big difference. Second, the $50 deposit policy felt a bit unnecessary, especially since many other hotels don’t require this. I understand the reasoning behind it, but maybe there’s a better approach.

For example, if the concern is damages or smoking in the rooms, why not charge violators directly instead of requiring every guest to pay a deposit? Another idea could be implementing a system where repeat offenders get temporarily banned—say, a one-month suspension for smoking violations. This would protect both the hotel and guests who follow the rules.

I have plenty of ideas that could benefit both the staff and customers, making the experience better for everyone while ensuring the hotel maximizes its potential. If management is interested in discussing ways to improve operations, I’d love to connect. That being said, great job to the staff—keep up the good work!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Every corner of the hotel exudes neat and comfort, making it the perfect place to relax.

Two staff member, in particular, stood out during my stay. Shannon, Diann and Shelley were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. It's clear that they take great pride in their work and truly care about the guests.

Mohammad did an amazing job with everything today. He helped me when I really needed it with great service. The room looked amazing & the food service is top tier. They also have elevators & a very nice bar with close food places nearby! My stay was amazing.

It was alright until we saw a roach the second day of our stay. The manager refunded us for 3/4 nights but he defended having a roach which was weird... He said all hotels have them. I have stayed at too many cheap motels to be able to count and I have seen a lot of gross stuff, but never roaches.

I came to check out the hotel after renovation just see and ended up booking more nights as this hotel is very welcoming. Rooms are nice and clean. I che ked in with Diann and I was greeted with smiling face. Throughout my entire stay employees were very nice. Everyone seemed to enjoy working here.
