First, the pros: the location is great, only a few minutes from the south entrance. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean with an easy open window for fresh air.

Second, the cons: the room we were in was very small. There was barely any room to move. It would have been better if there wasn't a desk and they mounted the TV on the wall. We had to put our suitcase on the bed in order to open it. The shower was lukewarm even though the handle was turned to hot.

For the price it's a good hotel in a great location, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

I'm sure glad I found the red feather Lodge while I was planning my trip to the Grand Canyon area. It is located in Tusayan, a little town immediately south of the South entrance to the Grand Canyon. It is only about 10 minutes from the Grand Canyon visitor Center, making it very convenient. It was the best deal I could find for sure, as lodging in the Grand Canyon area is very expensive. I was able to park my motorcycle right outside my motel window, for security, which I appreciate. The check-in and checkout was great and the room was great so I was very satisfied. I was able to get up early in the morning and drive back to Grand Canyon and hike along the rim, which was amazing.

Great location to get to the grand canyon, rooms and accommodations were very nice. We had a great stay there. Pool and hot tub were great, love the giant towels they provide at the pool vs other places. If you need a place to stay, choose Red Feather!

This is a nice little hotel/motel located just outside the South Rim of Grand Canyon. Super convenient to everything here in Tusayan and very walkable to many restaurants. They are dog friendly and even gave us a nice upgrade (unasked for) from the motel which has smaller rooms and no microwave to the hotel side where rooms are a little more spacious and there is elevator service instead of exterior stairs. That was greatly appreciated and the lovely lady at the front desk was very kind to do that for us! Rooms all have a small fridge and k cup style coffee makers which are great as you can bring your own favorite coffee k cups with you which we do. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable but on the soft side. Yes, the old style a/c is noisy but they usually always are, so expected that. There is a small coffee area in the lobby and comfortable sesting if you need to wait for desk service. I highly recommend Red Feather Lodge especially if you like to bring your furry friends on vacation!

We stayed in the newer “hotel” building and it was very nice. Quiet at night and very friendly staff. Free coffee and hot tea in the lobby. We used the hot tub after our Canyon Vistas Mule Ride and it was wonderful! Large pool towels provided. Close to walk to shops, IMAX, and restaurants (no restaurant at the hotel). Reasonable rates, too! We will be back!

We stayed here one night after a day visiting the nearby Grand Canyon. It was a much larger place than I was expecting and even a bit nicer. The new building where reception is located is very nice with coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all day. We stayed in one of the motel wings nearby and thought the room was very quiet, but there was no elevator for the motel rooms so we had to carry our luggage up to our 2nd floor room. We did appreciate that our room key could be used to get 10% discounts at the nearby Plaza Bonita and Foodie Club restaurants. Our only issue with our room was that we could not get the air conditioning to run while we were in bed during the night.

Perfect location to enter the North Rim entrance. Wonderful friendly customer service. Lovely place, clean, spacious, comfy, near lots of gift shops and restaurants within walking distance. Pool and hot tub heated outside. Nice to use after all the hikes in the Grand Canyon! Family friendly, delicious coffee in lobby, beautiful decorations. Water bottle filler too, essential for all the hiking. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our one night stay. It was a short drive to the Grand Canyon. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The only negative is the parking was limited, but we did find a close spot. It would have been nice had they offered a continental breakfast.
