The cheapest place for gas in Tonapah, by far. It is just two blocks off the main road through town (U.S. Highway 95). The office is only open until 4:00 PM if you want to pay with cash, or need a receipt. However, if you have a credit card the pumps are open 24 hours. They just don't print out receipts. I drove a few hundred miles on this gas and had no problems. You can find the current prices on the Gas Buddy app.

These pumps are brand new, the diesel was the cheapest in town by 10 cents a gallon, and there was no wait.
The first night at 1:30 am, the pumps were unresponsive even though the sign said with credit cards the pumps were 24 hours a day, and the office was mon-fri 7am-4pm.
The pump worked just fine when I came back through town a week later during the day though. They may have been in the process of replacing the pumps though, because they looked brand new.
This is not your normal gas station, this appears to be the fuel truck fuel depot (hence being on Depot road) for Rebel, and for convenience, they threw a couple pumps there for consumers to fill up as well.

Price of fuel on the main drag was $4.39 to $4.69 a gallon. Price of regular gasoline at this Rebel was $3.10. It looks like a filling station for fleets but don’t let the no-frills appearance fool ya. The pumps take credit and debit cards just like any other pump in town but these aren’t paying for a huge island and parking lot. Drive the extra few yards and save yourself some money.

On average, 20 to 30 cents/gal. cheaper than anywhere else in town. Cash and credit are same price, credit only at night and on weekends. Up short, bumpy, sketchy road, but totally worth it. No other services.

Mood- Day Trip Fever

I was in one of my moods. That spur of the moment " Lets Go Eat and See Something Cool Moments" well it was snowing and was def an adventure this go around.

As everyone knows with the hike in Petrol prices roadtrips and or any other trips are now something that people contemplate more than they did before. I was driving on the main road in Tonopah and saw this sign. So I drove up the narrow road to this small Petrol place with just 4 pumps. However the price was $4.09.

No one was there. Everyone was down the street on the main drag paying at least $4.50 a gallon. This place was a perfect stop to fill up and save my wallet so I could use that money to EAT.

When you drive up it doesnt look like the typical petrol place. There are 4 pumps that are do-it-yourself type from the 80s at least. However it reminded me of memory with my family in Oregon. You have to do it manually. Insert the nozzle in your gas tank, flip the metal lever up, and voile. Was truly a blast from the past type deal.

Would most def recommend - pricing was worth it, no wait. Maybe because it doesnt seem to be true. Everything was clean despite all of the snow from when I went. There is a separate card reader at the end for you to pay. At the pump it is open 24 hours a day.

Extremely well hidden from the expected kind of location but their prices were great and the station was easy to use.

Absolutely the cheapest gasoline in town. I know prices vary but I'm talkin 30 to $0.40 cheaper than every other place in town. If you're on your way to Reno this is the place to fill up because you're going to have a stroke when you see gas prices in Reno.

When we got to the station, I was wondering what was wrong that the cheapest gas in town had no customers. The station seems new and was clean. My only guess is that being off the highway seems to be the answer. The Chevron station nearby had a lot of RVs present, some of them waiting to get to a pump. They may be put off by the Rebel location and the need to eventually turn a rig around to get back to the highway. Someone else can comment how hard that would be to do. Another note, I don't recall seeing a restroom. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
