The check in was great. There is an elevator. The room was large. The bathroom was fine though the shower was a bit weird like it was not really stable. The water pressure was not at all normal. The breakfast was free and had your standard fare of eggs, sausage and biscuit and gravy which was very tasty. Cereal and muffins also. All in all this was a safe, decent place to stay.

It has been awhile but in spring of 2022 (I had to put 2023 date to post) we stayed there and had an absolutely bizarre occurrence...I have not written before now because we have been working with attorney and police but to no avail. We checked in 3pm approx. Asked the front desk for the name of a pizza place as we were going to get pizza and visit friends. Upon return several hours later all our belongs from our room were gone except my toothbrush. The ground floor window was open (we did not open it but we did not check it was locked either). The security cameras were not working (unbeknownst to us before), and the key fob was not working. We discovered all these malfunctions when the police arrived. The police were very suspicious of employees and mixed stories on site but could not confirm anything. Two days later I received a phone call from the hotel that all my items were returned...that someone brought them to the back door said they "didn't want trouble"...nothing made sense...also a story about a maid that cleaned the wrong room (at 3pm?). Long story short, our friends went to the hotel and retrieved our items (which included a laundry basket of clothes that were not ours) and shipped it to us as we had to leave the next morning. (yes laundry basket included). Not "all" items were returned, electronics of course were missing (Surface, chargers and Kindle). My husband spent days without his important cpap, he had to sleep sitting up to breathe, there were no cpaps available at that time to buy a new one. And we had great inconvenience replacing pills, clothes and so on. I am an online instructor and instead of having my Surface, for the next two weeks on our trip I had to stay up late and use hotel computers after arrival, then drive the next day. Hard costs $2k plus. ||The hotel did nothing towards reimbursing us for our inconvenience nor expense. We called immediately and set up Choice Hotel Corporate Case #10706398.||Then spoke with Terrance Hotel customer service, he will “escalate.” Later calls, (25 minutes on hold, then cut off, rang 5 minutes , 23 calls ahead. Emailed form choicehotel.com/support. No response. Repeat calls/support, no response often no answer. Roberto in customer service said to call when investigation done. I did. Rika said that her supervisor said there will be no compensation. End report. I would sleep in my car before going back there. I will never tell a desk clerk we are stepping out for awhile, nor stay on ground floor. And I since have always checked that the security system is working...

Pass on this one. The bathroom was not cleaned well. The sink and tub were damaged and repaired shoddily. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke (hotel was listed as smoke free). The bed was so hard and uncomfortable we could not get comfortable to get restful sleep. The breakfast was good though. Close to eateries, we walked to Applebee's for dinner.

I do not recommend this hotel. I stayed here for business a few years ago and it was quite good. Since then it has really gone downhill. Here are the specifics on this trip:|- The key card continually demagnetized between morning and evening, though I was carrying it with other similar cards that did not demagnetize. |- The showerhead in my bathroom was broken and just jerry-rigged together, so I couldn't get under it. It took two days of reminding the front-desk staff in order to get it fixed. |- The mattress was very thin and incredible uncomfortable. I got up every morning with a horrible backache. |- The minifridge in the room had ice in the freezer section. The first night I put a salad in the refrigerator section and it froze. So I turned up the temperature just a bit, and for the next 4 days, the ice that had built up in the freezer section melted and ruined everything I put in there. |- The internet connection was unstable. |- The "business office" had a computer and printer. Neither worked. After I inquired, they finally put up a sign saying "out of order." |- Housekeeping cleared out the towels every day -- there was no option to hang the towels up and reuse them in order to reduce water consumption. |- With one notable exception, all the front-desk staff was defensive and unresponsible when asked for help with any of these problems. There was sort of a "not my problem" attitude. ||In summary, I will not stay here again, and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

This location doesn't have suites. Beware of going to the Choice website and booking an upgraded room for more money. You will get a standard room. Then you get your room, and there are stains in the bathtub and on the carpet. Will not return.

Positive: "" Negative: I arrived there feeling great, left feeling sick due to what I believe was mold in the hvac unit in the room. Also, the hot tub still isn't operational after over a year.

I don't know how I missed the reviews before booking because I would of never booked my room here. Staying one night and I also had a bed bug crawling on my chest . Woke me up out my sleep at 4am. Only for me to complain and the front desk act as if this is normal with no decency to take care of my complaints. I will never stay here again. Please understand this place is infected and the management don't show remorse!

unfortunately i would not recommend! i found bed bugs in my bed here. i was given a new room by someone who didn’t seem surprised or concerned about the bugs. i asked to use the laundry so i could wash my clothes to get rid of the bugs and was then told that i couldn’t because they were broken. my door was also partly open when i got to my first room, drawers were open inside, and it didn’t look super clean. did not get much sleep or a refund. major bummer.

update: got communication from the manager, essentially saying that i was lying about the bugs. he said he ‘resents’ the claim lol. it’s concerning because that means likely nothing was done about them. there is photo evidence of bugs in that room so not sure how they could say it wasn’t true.
