I strongly suggest you do not book this motel. We booked through Booking.com, and paid in full 1 month before our booking. Pure Voyage Shaw cancelled our booking on the day we were due to arrive, stating we would receive a full refund in 7 days. It was a stressful day finding new accommodation. When our refund did not arrive, we contacted Booking.com. After 8 phone calls, several emails, statements from my bank showing no credit, and 4 months since the cancellation we finally received our refund - and it was Booking.com who refunded us.I requested that Booking.com withdraw Pure Voyage Shaw from their site, but they have not at this stage - so please do not book this motel.

I would list negative stars if I could. Absolutely completed price gouging. Blamed our initial reservations being canceled on a website error then told us we had to rebook at double the rate.

Odd exchanges with host.

We reserved through booking.com. Used the contact number to ask questions. Started receiving answers from a different number. This different number said our reservation didn’t go through. We told them we had the confirmation from booking.com. They insisted we rebook. They sent a link to re-book, which we did.

Next they send us an address for the property we rebooked but the address is on the other side of town. We question them about this. They say that it is the property next door. Google maps put it at a 25 minute drive. We insist it is not the same property and cannot be next door.

We are then told that this new property was the one we originally booked. We were told we can check the booking. We had already sent them the screen shot of the booking.com confirmation for the other location which even said where it was. They still insisted we had booked the new place the first time around.

Eventually we were told that this time they would switch us. And then that we were getting upgraded. We had booked a room with a balcony. Says it clearly in the description . Our room had no balcony. The room next to us did.

Getting into the room was its own fiasco. I will chalk that up to poor app layout, poor instructions by the host, and our own tiredness and anxiety from what had already transpired.

They did open the garage door ina timely manner. The place was near and large. The location is an ok spot on Florida ave : folks hang and smoke at a courtyard out front which might disturb some.

Would not stay there again.

Der Empfang war enttäuschend: kein Bettbezug für eines der Betten und der kissenbezug nicht sauber. Wurde auf Nachfrage nachgeliefert, war aber nicht klar ob es klappen wird. Sowas braucht man nach einer stundenlangen Anfahrt nicht. Der ganze rest lieblos und billig: keine küchenrolle in der Küche, kein Trockentuch, funzellicht in einem der Zimmer usw.
Bisher unsere schlechteste Erfahrung in 10 Tagen. Und bevor ich es vergesse: der Straßenlärm ist massiv und die Gegend eher schlecht.
