Christina is an amazing recruiter (3rd I’ve ever had) and the best I’ve had yet. They say the third times the charm and they are right! I’m going into my third contract with her and I have no plans on switching my recruiter or agency! She’s so responsive, personable, kind, professional, and supportive of me! She always checks in on me, especially to make sure I’m being treated well with the start of a contract. My first contract with her, she even sent me a care package, it was so thoughtful, and I use the gifts regularly. At times when we are communicating, it’s like talking to a friend, but she always maintains professionalism, and it’s never awkward or uncomfortable. She’s even responded to me on off hours and has let me know she’ll do her best to be available to me anytime I need. I’ve never had an issue with being paid on time, delayed responses, or negative interactions. She will search high and low for contracts/negotiations that I want and never pressures me. I’ve work with Premier for the last 2 years or so and have had such a lovely experience doing travel nursing, particularly because of my recruiter Lauren. She is insanely attentive and knowledgeable, and she is so very very kind. While my experience as a whole with Premier has been amazing, I have to give credit to Lauren that she has been the top reason I’ve stayed with them for so long. There is never a question that goes unanswered and if she can’t personally answer it she will ask client managers and other coworkers until she knows the answer. She even helped me figure out what I needed to do once I was married and had to change my name for the nursing board! With so many travel healthcare agencies out here vying to “recruit” you, how do you decide who to work with?

Not only are top dollar contracts at the top of my list to help me decide, I also place heavy value on the recruiter that I work with. Most travel nurses will agree that while we are being recruited, the recruiters try to stay as close to us as our skin, but once we start our contracts and/or have problems on the assignment, they are as hard to find as the personal number of an A-list celebrity!

At Premier, Breah Ostertag recruited me, and because of her overall character and skills as a recruiter, I stand 10 toes down for her! Let me tell you what makes her so AMAZING to work with! Yes, she did what other recruiters do in the beginning. But it’s what she has done since that makes her one of my all-time favorite recruiters. When my assignment start date kept being pushed back, she STAYED in touch with me, keeping me in the loop every week as to the progress. When they (the client) continued to push back my start date, she found a way to make me very happy to continue to have patience. I heard from her once or twice a week during that trying and very frustrating time. Since the start of my contract, ANY time I text her, even on weekends, she is VERY quick to respond (within a reasonable amount of time with her being out on the West Coast and me being in the Midwest). She listens and takes all of my concerns seriously. She works WITH me, allowing me to decide how I’d like any problems to be resolved and she always keeps her word. I don’t feel alone in this assignment and she has made me feel like I’m more than a commission for her. As I write this, I realize that my experience with Breah has been the best that I’ve ever had with any recruiter. This is why I’d recommend her to anyone!
