I did the "Explore the Islands & Harbor Fall Foliage" bike tour on Oct. 3, 2024. Our guide Donna was wonderful, the day was gorgeous, and I learned a lot about Portsmouth as a first-time visitor! It's an easy ride on a comfortable bike. I highly recommend!

My wife and I had the best time on this tour. It was an amazing way to tour Portsmouth, see all the sites and get all the history! Paul was awesome. Super knowledgeable and made the experience a lot of fun. Would highly recommend this for anyone visiting the area.

Really great tour. The guide was spectacular. Coming from a former horse trail guide myself I have to say she was beyond amazing. Incredibly informative and knew so much history about the town. She was super friendly and really nice. Made everyone feel extremely comfortable when riding and knowing the rules. The ride itself was extremely scenic and beautiful.
I didn’t give it 5 stars due to this site as they will sometimes put the higher stars lower and because the quality of the bikes. 2 bikes had issues while riding. One was the one I was riding. I would have given less stars because of the bikes, but the guide was so amazing I upped the stars. Truly the company needs to invest in better quality of bikes. You get what you pay for.

We (2 adults + 14 year old) really enjoyed our tour of Portsmouth and the Harbor Islands, which are absolutely beautiful and are probably missed by many (if not most) visitors to Portsmouth. New Castle Island in particular was a spectacular New England village. Beyond the scenery, the bike ride was very nice — leisurely pace but not super slow. Lots of stops along the way at which our guide, Dawn, conveyed interesting history and funny stories about what we were seeing. She had a very nice way about her and she was a helpful guide along the roadways. All in all, I’m really glad we booked this tour. Highly recommended as a nice way to spend a beautiful Saturday morning and get a little outside the main downtown/tourist areas of Portsmouth.

We did the Islands and Harbor tour. It was a great experience and not too challenging for myself as an occasional bike rider. Great sights with interesting history mixed in. Would definitely recommend as a fun way to explore Portsmouth.

The beauty of Portsmouth really comes into focus on this wonderful tour. We did it on day 2 of a 7 day stay, making it a perfect introduction to the area. The ride was packed with great, often humorous details of the city's past and present, taking us through breath-taking vistas and gorgeous neighborhoods. The bikes were excellent quality, making for a safe smooth experience. Many thanks!

We booked this for Father’s Day morning and ended up having our own private tour! Marcus was an amazing tour guide and we had so much fun touring Portsmouth! Highly recommend for a fun activity in town! Even if you don’t ride bikes often, it was super easy to get comfortable with the bike and the roads are easy to get around.

We did a "self-guided tour" which essentially means we rented bikes and got detailed route suggestions from PortCity. We found them very easy to work with and super-helpful. The bikes were in terrific condition and well-equipped. We've rented bikes many places before, but never been given a kit to fix a flat tire (which we didn't need fortunately!) or such careful instructions for how to deal with any difficulties (none of which we had, again fortunately!). The route suggestions were excellent and turned out to be perfect for us. Would definitely rent from them again and would consider a guided tour next time we're in the area.
