I ordered this frying chicken and corn from them they put just chilli and sugar who can eat this they didn’t even add little salt in it and i just dumped in garbage can horrible taste both

Today for lunch, I had the pleasure of visiting the Pop-Up Chicken Shop, and let me tell you, the hype is real!

I opted for the Illinois Hot Chicken and Waffles with medium heat, accompanied by a side of Gouda Mac and Cheese and Street Corn.

The waffle was impeccably fluffy. The chicken was an absolute delight, boasting a delightful crunch and a tantalizing hot honey flavor that paired perfectly with the drizzle of maple syrup.

Now, let's talk about that Mac and Cheese – it was divine! Creamy, cheesy, and downright indulgent, it easily secured the title of the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had.

And the Street Corn? Equally impressive. Bursting with flavor, thanks to the addition of chopped red onions and tomatoes, it's a must-try.

Despite the busy crowd, the service was exceptionally quick, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive our food in record time.

I’ve been here multiple times and each time has been nothing short of phenomenal! The food gets more amazing every time. The specials are genius creations that no one else around here even comes close to having that resembles them and the staples on the menu are award winners all by themselves. Service is lightning fast, top quality, and always willing to please. Bar is exquisite with a top notch selection of some of the best whiskeys you’ll find in this area. My personal favorite food item is the horseshoe with hot sauce but the chicken sando is a classic! Check this place out! You will not be disappointed.

I ordered wings - dry rub hot and their hot sauce on the side. Not bad, seasoned well but fried too hard. Their side of hot sauce has a sweetness to it which I wasn’t fond of. Because the cashier was nice I’ll be back to try something else on the menu…

Great spot! Friendly staff, HUGE selection of liquor/beers. Clean restaurant, clean glasses and cutlery. The only thing my wife and I would change would be either make the fried pickles thinner or more well done to ensure they're crispy. The mild was very mild, next time I'll go with medium.

My son brought me here for first time after he had been raving about the food. It did not disappoint! Went on an off time during the week and able to get right in. You order as you walk in and they send you to a table. Food was in front of us within 5 minutes! The fries were awesome! Could eat them daily. I had the pulled chicken with medium heat and was fantastic. Messy but loved that. Highly recommended!
