Visiting Polar Caves is a fantastic experience, especially if you go early in the day. Arriving before noon ensures fewer crowds, allowing for a more relaxed visit. Booking tickets online not only saves you time but also offers cheaper pricing.

While it may warm up outside, the caves remain refreshingly cool, providing a nice contrast. For those who prefer to stay out of the caves, there are bypass routes available, making it accessible for everyone. The “Lemon Squeeze” passage can be a tight fit for adults, adding an element of challenge for those who enjoy a bit of adventure.

Beyond the caves, the gift shop is fantastic, offering a variety of unique items. You can also feed the farm animals and enjoy a scenic nature walk. Make sure to wear closed-toed shoes for safety and comfort. There’s also a great picnic area, so consider bringing your own lunch to enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it’s a fun outing for all ages!

We could not recommend this place more. We have been twice with our daughter from her being 16 months & then almost 3 years. We will definitely be back more frequently. It is an amazing time with a variety of things to do. This is a great day trip & we always love bringing home souvenirs. This year we have two geodes to break open on our daughter’s birthday! Between feeding the animals, musical area, gem mine, sand box, picture area, covered bridge, nature trails, wooded climbing area, caves & more. You will never be disappointed. We will be back soon & will recommend to everyone!

Took my 9 year old and 17 year old girls for a fun trip that is a family tradition. There are bypasses for each cave, and there was one area closed for the falcons nesting, but we did every other available cave. i recommend sneakers and longer bottoms (like leggings or similar) to ward off scrapes and bug bites. Highly recommend for older children, especially. Huge free parking lot. Feed deer and ducks for $2 each bag of dried corn. Cute gift shop and knowledgeable and kind staff.

I was up in NH for work and wanted to spend the afternoon doing some family friendly outdoor activity. This place has more to offer than you might imagine as you turn into the parking lot. It’s a big area inside with many things to do. Give yourself two hours. It’s so much fun for nature lovers!

First, the Polar Caves are easy to find, minutes off the highway, with plenty of parking. Once in, they have a large gift shop with multiple, clean, gender neutral and accessible restrooms. This says a lot about the thought the establishment puts into for our comfort. Thanks!

Next you head out into a little farm with lots of ducks and deer that you can feed.

From there you head towards the caves. It’s all very well marked and has steps that bypass all the caves for anyone with claustrophobia or very small kids they’re carrying, etc. This part was a lot of fun but does require lots of steps, some steep. You’re mostly climbing up the mountain and into caves along the way before you work your way back down.

This part takes about 45 mins. But after this, you get access to the boulder maze which is just a walk (all board walkways) through a mostly flat area. Also a pretty big area and here it’s not claustrophobia inducing at all. I may have liked this part the best! 🤣

Lastly, there’s a short nature trail, but don’t skip it. It’s beautiful and easy to say.

Overall, it’s a fun time. Reasonably priced for the time and all the activities. Family friendly but also great for anyone that loves time in nature. Stop in and enjoy!

Tickets are too expensive. Family of four $110? We were there maybe an hour. Amazing boulder formations, small cables and cool to check out.

Great place to visit! There's a lot of stairs, regardless of if you choose to go through the caves. Moderate physical level to get through them. Most aren't very long but do require ducking and climbing. You can choose to go to the overlook (more stairs) or bypass but still have a great experience. Little gift shop that has feed for the deer and ducks! A little picnic area, some photo ops, and "mining" are available. It was a blast to go through as an adult!

We had a blast climbing through the caves on a hot day. Very challenging areas not for the claustrophobic. Would definitely recommend. Make sure to feed the deer and ducks.

If you're in the area, Polar Caves Park is a definite must-visit. This park offers a fun adventure for all ages, with its intriguing network of caves. Even if you're feeling tired or cautious, there are multiple opportunities to bypass a cave, making it accessible for everyone. Our favorite was the Devil's Turnpike, which we found to be the most challenging. Navigating through it with a three-year-old and an eight-year-old added an extra layer of excitement and adventure to our experience. Overall, Polar Caves Park provides a great mix of exploration and fun for the whole family.
